Hello Parimis!

I don’t know how many of you are participating in Camp NaNo this year, but I’m making this thread so that if you want extra motivation or need quick help with something it’s just here.

Camp NaNo, for anyone who doesn’t know,  is a virtual online writing camp that happens in April and July internationally. You can set yourself a goal in either words, pages, hours and possibly something else, then write for the month to reach that goal.

You’re also put in ‘cabins’ to reach your overall goal as a cabin. (The total of all of your goals put together.) And you can have awesome and fun discussions with your cabinmates and in general it is just a heap of fun.

I’m doing Camp this year with a Fantasy project called, “Flightless.” Here’s my blurb/back-of-book-synopsis thing:

<p style=”text-align: center;”>Forced into an arranged marriage with a stranger from another country, Caution flees the palace to deal with the conflict between the two nations herself, her only companion being a silent stablehand who served under her father. Ancient legends spoke of a dragon who would assist those with a noble heart that strove for the good of the kingdom, and Caution intended to find them to aid her in her quest.</p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”>Upon neither the dragon nor her companion being what they seemed, and another more sinister plot being revealed, her plans are thrown into the wind, leaving her wondering if she should have just accepted the marriage.</p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”>But how do you know if you can fly unless you first fall?</p>
So I’m looking forward to that this Camp NaNo. What about you guys? Who’s participating this time ’round? Any fun plans?
