A lot of my stories take place in the middle ages too, though usually with an element of fantasy added in. What’s your favorite medieval fact?

@hope-mcclellan World Anvil doesn’t have a map maker (that I’m aware of), it just allows you to upload already-created maps and add notes, “pins,” etc., which can then link to your World Anvil articles so it’s easy to see info about various locations on the map. So it’s very helpful for what it does, but it doesn’t create maps. 😛

@kari-karast Pirates of the Caribbean is really good.  Well, the 4th one isn’t, but 1-3 and 5 are fantastic.  You should watch them sometime.

Jungle dwarves . . . I suppose it might depend on what kind of jungle they’re in.  Rainforest jungle?  Tropical jungle?  Some other kind of jungle?

@kari-karast it’s not bad at all that you don’t have those Races in your stories!  If a Race doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit.  It’s your world (or worlds, as the case might be) so you’re not required to put anything in.  Heck, you don’t even have to have gravity if you don’t want it (Gravity…..don’t mean to much to me…[Read more]
