  • “Thanks Snake-Punk but apparently I’m good on your coin.” Was that blind guy laughing at him? He was, wasn’t he? He seemed to scratch the scars under his blindfold when he was nervous. Oh well.

“Of course. I’m incredibly generous.” Nathair smirked as if he’d totally planned that. He took a sip of his drink and it burned all down his throat – th…[Read more]

  • “I’ll take something stronger.” said one of the company.

Caleb wanted to be alone for a bit.

“You got any money?” said the bartender.

    “Of course.”

Did he even have money? For his answer, the man put a small coin down. The bartender dutifully poured a glass.

    “Pay up.”

    “Gladly.”

More coins appeared and the man took the glass to another tabl…[Read more]

  • “Hey Ax-Punk. Which of these coins will buy me whatever Snake-Punk’s having?” Blind-Guy asked.

    Snake-Punk? Seriously.

I hate everyone here and I hate my name. Nathair thought dully, but he smiled smugly at Blind Guy and twirled ethe drink. Honestly, he had no clue what he’s just bought and was hoping it was actually worth it. Who knew how awf…[Read more]

    @kimlikesart Lol really?

The chaotic energy is strong with this castle!

Oi, uh, I’ve still kept up where everybody’s at right? Con is…following them to the room Arsene got for all the guys, and Arsene’s with Leana and Crorie, guiding them to their room. Hades and Sherlock and Arsene are already in the room waiting for the others.

    And…[Read more]

  • Caleb broke through the wall. Rock clattered on the concrete. It was a sewer and most fortunately a clean one that didn’t smell too bad. Sauntering through the opening, he looked up and down the narrow walkway beside the channel.

    “Hello!!” He yelled.

The echoing reverberated off the walls. Caleb smiled. He always wanted to do that. A pale light…[Read more]

  • “Well, if he brings the river in on us, I’m gonna kill him before the water does.” Blind Guy snaps. Good to know he’s recovered enough to yell at everybody, that was a relief. “I’ve got a genus loci to punish and I ain’t dying cause someone’s gone dig happy.”

“Dying would also be bad for group morale, so kindly refrain from it.” Nathair added…[Read more]

  • Blind Guy fell over in the middle of them escaping. Further he yelped like a frightened puppy.

    Nathair sighed.

“Now you’re scaring the kids.” He murmured to no one in particular and went over to the Blind Guy. “Not planning on wandering off again, are you?”

Nathair crouched beside him, evaluating. No good them getting separated again he wasn’t…[Read more]

  • Drip.

    Drip.

Caleb listened to the rhythmic water. It helped calm him. What he had done before was stupid and cowardly. He should help others who were in the same trouble as him. He couldn’t cower at every issue he encountered. But what could he do now.

    Drip.

    Drip.

    Drip.

Water. Caleb still had his canteen. He had his axe and revolver. He had…[Read more]

Ok!! So…there’s been a lot of clutter and confusion in the Character Castle and it’s been quiet for a bit so…”IT’S 12 PM DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHARACTERS ARE???”
Everybody tell everybody what your characters are doing and where they are and we’ll see where to go from there? 🙂

  • “If your burning vengeance is so great, then come and defeat me.”

    So. That sounded ominous.

And sure enough, a verrry ominous crack sounded overhead.

“Before we begin coming up with a plan, might I propose running very fast?” Nathair said calmly. Until – that is – a slab of stone crashed from the ceiling. “Right now!”

He shoved the first per…[Read more]

  • So.

    It was quiet.

Not a real quiet, only the façade of silence loud with insecurities, and with torturous anticipation.

A numb sort of quiet because it was coming again. If the silence were a color it would be grey – not pure white or wicked black, not a single color really. The kind of grey that blocks out all the other colors and just fa…[Read more]

  • You’d have thought Arsene had never seen Alessio use his powers for all the racket he was making.

Yes it’s a stupid wall of fire, and you vanish things out of existence so I think we’re even! Water was pouring out the ceiling, even worse than most rainstorms he’d been caught it. That. was not fun.

  • Bored out of his mind. That was eXaCtLy how Alessio was feeling…

He couldn’t afford to slow down.

Get somewhere marginally safe. Find Arsene. Where was that idiot now? Alessio wasn’t sure whether he was more miffed that Arsene wasn’t there, or that he was really scared for him. Because it was a stupid idea to catch feelings for a bankrob…[Read more]
