@graceabounds2129 The job is great! I’m building a patio this week and that’s been fun. (Also, lifting all those bricks makes my hands hurt lol, but hey I’m gonna have a mean handshake when it’s all said and done!)

Hey guys
It’s been a while since I posted one of these (or anything, really) but when I saw what Jane from Meraki had cooked up (along with help from Daeus and Faith), I had to make sure to share it. If you’re trying to decide whether you want to pursue traditional or self publishing, it’s your lucky week.
Self Publishing vs Traditional…[Read more]

@graceabounds2129 I LOVE YOUR POEM, GIRL! When you finish editing it, please tag me! When it’s finished, I would love to print it out and put it on my poetry wall. <3
For how I edit poetry…I generally draft out my poem longhand and get out everything in my head–all the ideas and the vibes and all that. After that, I take a break for a day or…[Read more]

Rillumen has been so inactive lately! Where is everybody? Or has it always been this slow and I never noticed? Not that its bad or anything!
I almost missed the latest word war, so I thought I would remind everyone to quickly send in their total words! The time’s already up, but Daeus Lamb added something today reminding everyone to send in their…[Read more]

Hey guys… It is I… Wordsmith. *nods*
Not long ago I took a long break from all this online stuff… and I finished the first draft of my novel. And I want to let you know, that working with Rillumen is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest reason I actually had it finished in the time-frame of one year. The word-wars have been amazing.…[Read more]

Hey guys, this week our weekly discussion is from Brandon Miller.
(oh. me.)
How and What to Read as Writers:
Okay so, we’re all writers, right? We weave words and spin tales and generally have a good go at reality. For most of us though, our love for stories started on the other side of the experience — as readers. Now that we’re writing, it’…[Read more]

New plan. Or maybe, old plan, newly applied. I’m going to work on this every morning before work, which means getting up @5:30. If you feel like it, ask me on any old day if I spent my half hour of writing in the morning.

Hey guys!
Have you ever struggled with trying to find time to write? Yeah, me too. Thankfully, Faith Blum has some pointers to help us get the most out of every second of our day (without killing ourselves doing it).
24 hours. 1,440 minutes. 86,400 seconds. That’s how much time we have each day. And yet, it seems like we never have enough h…[Read more]

So the deadline was actually Monday, so don’t worry about trying to find another story. (And don’t worry about missing it, either.) Thanks for your work on it and we’ll give it another go next month.
Thanks again!

HI. I’m sorry I disappeared over the weekend. We had guests and I had no internet. BUT, I read what you’d written and I really like both of them. (are they two separate things, or are you going to tie them together?) Either way, I think it could be cool. I’m headed to work, but I’ll swing in tonight to grab the scene if you’ve…[Read more]
