A MONTH LONG WORD WAR????

We are SO rocking this. @faith_blum, keep the lists out. we are going to have a million kaJILLION  words!!!

so far, I have 4, 851, but I hope to have more like 35,000 before the month is out!

I NEVER EVER know how to start, so I always end up revising the first half of whatever I’ve written. super frustrating.

@faith_blum, there’s a lot of different things on our list. Altogether, there are twelve “challenges”. Our first one is “A picture is worth a thousand words”. We each chose a picture (something online, or something drawn, ect.) and our goal is to write exactly 1,000 words based off of the picture.

@faith_blum I have a question. If you are drawing your book (graphic novel) would drawing a word like “Bus Stop” on a sign count as words? And also, do sound effects count? (blam, pow, that kind of stuff)

@faith_blum I think the third book in the Out of Time trilogy has a really dramatic opening and a killer first line: I wake in a coffin. Gives me chills. 😉

@faith_blum Ooo, yay! I love hooks! As someone who leans more to the pantser side of writing, that is the part that usually comes to me as an idea.

It’s…epic. A page like that was actually something I had in mind to improve the guilds. As it was, I didn’t even know what guilds existed and the history of the guild wars. I love the emblems for each guild, too
