Sorry it took so long for me to respond! Since you said you’ll handle the character in a Christian way, I don’t mind. After all, I’m dealing with a bunch of narcissists, traitors, and murderers, yet I don’t usually call them that. I love them and know what they’ll grow into: joyful, noble, humble. I’m sure it’s similar with you and…[Read more]

@emily-waldorf what a lovely story for Avin and Elsa! No wonder she wanted to marry him XD Avin honestly sounds like such a sweet and patient guy. And the idea of him taking care of her like that throughout the storm is so cute and also kind of painful, considering how she treated him :’)

Sweet! I’m not quite sure how to start this, since…well, Valencia has quite a bit of common sense and knows better than to approach intimidating masked men on a whim XD
Or would she?
We’ll need to figure out a way to force them both together! I think it’s going to be really funny seeing them interact
Btw, is L…[Read more]

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
And I have a lot of research I need to do… Thank you for that as well.
The story was honestly just a concept that just floated into my brain and I was like “hmm I haven’t had a ton of motivation to write, but the story makes me feel really excited” And then I realized that I would probably have a lot of…[Read more]

@emily-waldorf @irishcelticredflowercrown that’s honestly very reassuring! I’m just waiting for the rest to reply now XD
I’m probably not going to wait too much longer, since this person is actually has some strong ties to Valencia 🙂

Avin was in prison when Elsa found him and asked him to help her find the prince, her brother. He first pointed out the difficulties, then broke out and accompanied her. She was NOT happy, and thought he was in prison for a crime. She hurt him a lot, mostly unintentionally, but once on purpose, because he wouldn’t tell her where they…[Read more]

Anika
Cal stifled a smile and said her feet would be fine. “They’re the most common irregular Latin verbs, they’re a present from my sister.”She got a far-away sound in her voice that made Anika’s chest tighten. She glanced at Natalya, but her face was a blank.
What is Latin? Maybe it was spoken in the schools, or in Kjerte. She cocked her hea…[Read more]

So personally I’m okay with it 🙂 you do you, if you feel like putting him in then do❤️ And if his attractions are integral to his character background, then don’t shy away from it. I trust your own judgement :))
And u gave me a giggle when u pointed out about all the beloved assassins residing here🤣 so true and a good point to mak…[Read more]

@this-is-not-an-alien Do Rosario and Ehud have last names? Because I’ve found that if the first names don’t fit nicely for a ship name, the last names sometimes work pretty well!

Yup, you’re right. Diego is Zorro. He’s just being Diego in the picture. Zorro wears black. 🙂 No, I didn’t know there was a book! Now I’ll have to look it up!!

If you want an example of how to brainwash children and young adults, look no further than the Army. Not to speak negatively on the brave soldiers who volunteer to serve and protect, but hear me out. Your average middle class American Joe Schmoe is not that violent of a person, nor that mentally tough. Part of the reason casualties in disaster or…[Read more]

Avin
Kit’s eyes widened. “You married a princess? That sounds like something straight out of a fairy tale!” His whole face grinned. “Wait so does that make you a prince now?”
Avin smiled in spite of himself. “No: I’m only a duke, now. In Vegada the wife’s title is aligned with the husband’s, so now she’s only a duchess.”
…When she could h…[Read more]

@calidris you already alleviated my two objections: That it would be seen as a sin and that he wouldn’t act on his attraction in the castle. I think it would be great to meet another character that you love. I understand your love of Kit already, so bring him on.
@rose-colord-fancy brilliant move to ask Anika and Natalya about siblings. I…[Read more]

Also, I had a bit of a revelation about Cal. I think she was coming across as rather too mean, just for the sake of it, and that isn’t really in character for her. So I think I’ll be doing something of an adjustment, so it might seem a little out of character.

Ophelia
Jade shot me something that appeared to be on the verge of a frown but caught herself.
“Have you done much with partners before?”
I shook my head, then changed my mind and nodded. I hadn’t done much but I had done something, and I supposed that’s what she was asking.
“I’ve been practicing a pas de deux recently,” I said, “But Malco…[Read more]

Nice drawings of Cal! The hair is really cool.
Thank you! 😀
that second picture is Cal to perfection! Her facial expression is just *chef’s kiss*
Thank you! It really captured her attitude XD

“Outclassed?” My attention snaps back to Avin. “You’re never that. There’s no such thing as class, Kit. You’re a person, she’s a person. You just live a different life; speak a different language. You’ll learn. One day it will happen, and suddenly she’ll see you in a new light.”
Speak a different language. Yeah. That’s exactly how it fee…[Read more]
