    With a wild cry Prince Akee leapt forward and tackled the head enemy wolf-person.
    “You traitors!” He cried. Akee and the leader fell to the ground, wrestling savagely.

    Zeinli and Goane moved forward and brandished their lightsabers at the wolf-people. The rebels hesitated and crouched down at the slight of the intimidating weapons.

    Rookie grinned and moved beside the Jedi, pointing his blaster to the enemy.

    “You fools, stop groveling like a bunch of frightened puppies and attack!” Their leader snarled from his place on the ground. With a vicious swipe of his claws he slashed Akee off of him. The wolf-prince tumbled away but landed on his feet. Rookie dashed over to him and covered Akee while the wolf-prince pulled himself up.

    The enemy wolf-people surged forward, but so did the Jedi’s allies. Howling and snarling rose from the battle. Zeinli’s white and indigo blades, along with Goane’s green, flashed and stood out against the dull colors of wolf-people and battle droids.

    Sry I took so long

    —-

    Jaina and her crew pressed on, even with a prisoner in tow.

    Steady would glance back at the wolf guy every once in a while, distrust in his eyes, and waryness on his face underneath his helmet.

    Reel stood at the ready with his gun poised, looking forward to the destruction of more droids.

    (Sry it’s very anticlimactic XD)

    Solstice fidgeted nervously with one of her braids. She bit her lip and motioned Jak and Zak over.
    “I want you to get up in a tree and survey the area every few minutes,” she told them. The inseparable pair nodded, and Jak quickly scaled a tree and scanned the group’s surroundings.

    “What was that all about?” Jaina asked. Solstice shrugged.

    “I… I have this strange feeling. It feels like we’re being watched,” the Padawan glanced over her shoulder anxiously. “But I’m not sensing anyone.”

    “Droids, maybe?” Reel suggested excitedly.

    “Could be,” Jaina said, and then looked to Solstice. “Keep your senses sharp. Let me know if you detect anything else out of place.”

    (I think Jak and Zak were with Zeinli’s group, but XD I guess it doesn’t matter :P)

    Will kept a tight hold on the vines that kept the wolf guy captive. Every once in a while the guy would give a low growl, and Will had to shrug away a chill going down his spine.

    Noaa and Cresh stuck close together, guns at the ready. Cresh still eyed Jaina carefully. After what had happened on their last outing, he was afraid another knock to the head would cause severe damage to the girl. But as of now she seemed fine.

    Broker eyed the tree branches suspiciously. He turned on a heat sensor in his helmet but saw no readings.

    AHH I should have just left all of my clones together😑

    ~~~~~
    Solstice’s hand drifted toward her lightsaber hilt. Something was coming, something bad… the sense of foreboding grew and spread throughout her body before a sudden explosion of warning shot through her mind.
    “Everyone down!” Solstice screamed just as laser fire erupted from the trees.
    Five round metal contraptions dropped from the treetops and then transformed into laser-shooting droids, protected by a purplish deflector shield.
    “Droidekas!” Broker grunted as he and the others took cover behind the tree trunks. Reel jumped out and fired at the droids with reckless abandon.
    “You can’t get them like that!” Broker yelled over the sound of blaster fire.
    “I know, I just felt like shooting something!!” Reel called back.
    Fortunately, Reel’s distraction gave the others enough time to prepare several droid poppers.
    Jaina, Will, and Steady began to move in on three of the five droidekas.
    lol I can totally understand that XD
    (Hmm)
    Bo’ and Ivaylo continued on in the underground system.
    they soon found Gryphon waiting for them near an closed door above his head.
    Bo’ gave the Trooper a small smile as they reached him.
    Ivaylo nodded, “this should be it.”
    The three then began their assent into the castle.
    Ivaylo scaled the last several rungs of the escape hatch and waited in silence at the top. He flung the hatch open and leapt out, hands near his weapons. He scanned the light-grey stone room.
    “It’s clear,” He said to Bo’ and Gryphon. His two companions jumped out.
    Gryphon moved to one of the large windows.
    “Looks like our distraction is working,” the commander noted. An intense skirmish between the two sides was going on just within the city walls.
    “Good. Now let’s move. The king should be close,” Ivaylo said, and then started  down the hall.
    Yeah, they knew the Separatists were invading, but now they find out that the king’s head governor betrayed the king and is working with the Separatists.
    (Okiiii)
    they silently slinked through the halls. Bo’ marveled at the grandeur of the castle.
    Ivaylo paused by a doorway and motioned for the clones to wait.
    Voices were heard from the room.
    “The Jedi are here, Count Dooku! In the capital!” Anxiety and irritation filled the man’s voice. “You promised me that the droids would keep them away!”
    “And they will, Lord Ufflu’arn. I am sending reinforcements as we speak.” The deep, intense voice of Count Dooku spoke, slightly distorted by the holo-call. Gryphon and Bo’ exchanged looks, and Ivaylo’s fists clenched. “Your Jedi will be overwhelmed.”
    “T-thank you, Count Dooku,” the governor spoke, and then the call ended. There was a slight shuffling as he rose. As the governor started toward the exit, Ivaylo gestured for Gryphon and Bo’ to hide themselves.
    The men crouched behind a small table and in a doorway.
    The governor left the room and walked down the corridor.
    Bo’ watched from his position, taking in every detail about the man.
    They waited for several minutes in silence before the governor was completely gone.
    Without a word Ivaylo started down the hall leading to the king. He reached the corner and halted, peering cautiously around it. Several security cameras were active and scanning the room. Ivaylo turned to the men.
    “On my mark, fire at the cameras. Gryph, you get the one on the far right. Bo’, the one on the left. I’ll take care of the middle two.” Ivaylo unhooked his blaster, and then retrieved one previously concealed in his cloak.
    “We won’t have much time to get the king out after we shoot these,” Gryphon said.
    “If we’re not fast enough we’ll have droids swarming us,” Bo’ added.
    “I’d say we’re a fast bunch,” Ivaylo said, cocking his weapons.
    “Fire.”
    (Sry I didn’t respond for so long I needed inspiration lol)
    Zeinli slashed through a good portion of droids. However she refused to kill any wolf person. The troops could stun them, but she didn’t want killing.
    Of course prince Akee didn’t care. He killed his own people. They were traitors to the crown.
    Soon they were the winners of the battle.
    Goane grinned at his master and turned to face the gate, smiling at the prince and his companions.
    His eyes widened as he saw many more droids marching through the gates.
    Oh, I know how that is. 😉
    ~~~~

    “Fall back!” Zeinli’s cry of retreat echoed across the battlefield, calling the remaining clones and loyalist wolf-people back to the gate.

    Rookie supported an injured wolf-person as he and the others moved as fast as they could to Zeinli.

    “Ah, Rookie, we can always count on you to be the hero, can’t we?” Black growled as he helped Rookie carry the wolf-person to safety.

    Rookie just nodded as he and Black moved back to the main defense force.

    “Jaina?” Zeinli spoke into her emergency comlink, concern lacing her voice as another battalion of battle droids came into view.

    “We could really use your help right now!” Goane called as he deflected the first shot of the fresh battle droids.

    “I’m a little occupied at the moment!” Jaina said through the comm. Her response was followed by several explosions. Goane and Zeinli exchanged looks. “Ah, I’m free now. What’s your location?”

    What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.
