Yet You Believe?
“What is wrong with my country?” The large man straightened his back, thick arms crossing over his chest as he stared at those before him. “The criminals are held as martyrs, the learned as God, the rulers as iron bars. Men, like me, flee when things are hard. And those who stand? All will fall.”
His eyes held sadness, glaring tears. “This is the New Age. The Great Reset that was warned of. Welcome to it. Be ready, for it has already overtaken you.
Awake, before it is too late. Before your homes are consumed, your pastures taken. Do not let them touch your daughters; do not let your sons hear their speech. Do not let their poison enter their blood.
But it is too late. The mighty have fallen, for they indeed were not mighty at all. While they were alive and healthy, they let themselves grow fat. Now they reap the reward.
What do you want from me, O man? Nothing I give. For I own nothing, but the government owns everything.
Do you not see? This is the end. Yet you believe tyrants will kneel?” His voice tightens with passion, “It is nothing but a lie.
Now do what you will.”
