Here it is! The Favor (First Draft)

It’s just thrown together and not terribly long, but I’m hoping this gives us more time and space to really polish that second person voice. Edit away!

Something I found when writing this is that negative emotions, particularly insecurity or doubt, work well with second person because often when we make mistakes or feel bad, we whisper those things to ourselves. Why did you do that? What were you thinking? What are they going to think of you? etc. If we can use that to underscore some moments powerfully in the story, that might make it more emotionally resonant!
