Hi everyone!
So right now I’m brainstorming/outlining for my WIP, and in short, I know where I’m going to end, I’ve figured out my beginning, but it’s a little hard for me to continue plot-brainstorming. Maybe it’s because it’s a lot of work, but I’m hesitating to try to create a plot line from the first plot point and getting it to end where I know it’s supposed to go.
I do have a glimpse of what the second act is going to look like, but I think putting it into one-event-leads-to-another and everything-is-fulfilled-in-the-climax format is a bit daunting. I have noticed that my inspiration kind of dries up when I view my story in what it’s supposed to be, rather than letting myself create.
How have all of you dealt with this when it’s happened to you? Would it be best to start from the end and work backwards? Any advice?
