@ericawordsmith… It might have been a little rude… but then again he was asking for it. And I am feeling a bit snarkier than normal right now.
@selah-chelyah… I could get ruder… especially in this state. XD *coughs* But yes! Third person is beautiful. That being said, since it’s what you feel most comfortable, the coach in me says working…[Read more]

Oooooh! All of those are cool. And I’m glad you like third-person. I have nothing against first-person… but third (especially omniscient) is especially beautiful, and can be especially hard. Second-person is admirable, beautiful, lovely… It’s amazing! I wrote a short story in it from the perspective of a sword.

*grins* Welcome to the club! I’m technically not an “oldie” because I joined a whole six months after SE was a thing… but I have been around the block… so sometimes I feel a bit like and oldie.
I am Wordsmith, and I am happy to see you here. It’s always a pleasure to meet new peeps, but you probably won’t see me much as I rarely…[Read more]

We are not WAY too dramatic. You are just BORING!!! *sticks tongue out* Drama gets people to quote you, and make mugs after your quotes.

@selah-chelyah… I am a bit surprised. Then again, it’s not the first time.
@ericawordsmith… It’s a great term! And I’m so glad you have that mug!
@evelyn… Unless of course one of those old friends is me, then I am like coffee… and thus am also the obvious answer for whom to chat with. 😉 *climbs into the hole he dug for himself* It’s…[Read more]

Beautiful! Thank you, Daeus. Hearing all of this is helpful to me, as I relate with so much of it… only, outside of the ‘having published’ field.

Wow! It has been a long time. I’ve purposefully been avoiding SE… which has been sad. It’s hard to have to do that. And thank you for giving me a good excuse to step on for a few minutes. Life has been CRAZY busy.
BUT! It’s been good. I’m in the early stages of draft three of my novel… and I bought a car yesterday night! Very…[Read more]

My heart did not go any ‘GHK’ things (or was that her throat)… I did not cry… but then again, I am a man.
What I saw instead was the visual stunning. I saw the feels, heard them, felt them. It was a little view, a tiny flash of Cindy’s compassion in 2143 words.
Beautiful.

Ah! Glad to hear from you. And yes, you have been graced with the actual presence of my dramatic self. *bows with a flourish*
But alas, you have nothing to fear from me in the realm of coffee. Besides, I have no doubt you will come to enjoy it more later in life. Though again, I am possibly incorrect.

Ah! But indeed Wordsmith is both a title and a name. It is what I go by, as a pronounical title. 🙂 *bows* And though I may yet accept other titles, the ones mentioned do not fit.

No, I do not accept the term King. Something about it steals from Wordsmith.
Madame, I still deny such titles. Yes, Wordsmith can be dramatic. Yes he enjoys drama, and it is attracted to him. No, he is not king.
As for Duke of Caffeine. If you met me, you would probably see very little reason to continue applying it…[Read more]

Allow me to correct you here… King Wordsmith of Drama, and Duke of Caffeine have connotations that I do not necessarily subscribe to. *gets highly technical*
King implies authority, which may or may not be applied to my station. It’s rather shifty here. Wordsmith, yes I am, though King Wordsmith? I don’t think those quite line…[Read more]
