  • (Leana stuck her tongue out at Hades, if only a moment, when he refused the nick-name… She’ll still use it.)

As she listened to Alessio… Leana’s heart warmed and bubbled like a brook. Father loved Alessio. He knew him. He named him.

He… always seemed to make people feel valuable. Be they a senator whose carriage lost a wheel. Or a begger…[Read more]

  • Well I did reply but it seems internet pacman ate that.

That was an amazing read I love how fast paced it is but I still get a good idea of the characters!!!

I still don’t know what to think of Leo he has so many mixed impressions I’d like to see more of his motives!

Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

  • They’d need to get moving, Alessio thought. But he felt relieved, lighter than he had in so many years. He kind’ve just wanted to talk about Nithel, Leana would know more about him and that was something he’d like to hear more of. What was it like, a kind loving person as a father?

They didn’t have time to talk though, the sooner they made it…[Read more]

  • Change it how you need it 🙂

  • So this happened fast.

I can’t write Burn in character for this. There is no way, no how he’s sitting in the air howling curses while Nathair and Sherlock hold polite conversations. I could have made it work if it weren’t for that one detail. Can I change it?

  • “ARSENE!” This new person – Sherlock apparently – shouted and smashed the cave wall in the particles of dust. His scaled knuckles shimmered with fiery light as he slowly collected himself.

Nathair raised his eyebrow with a bemused smirk and the man turned to him, continuing in a much quieter, controlled voice.

    “Arsene. What’s your connection…[Read more]

  • “And I’ll call him Big Softie,”

… Sigh. Why was he not surprised? Alessio vaguely reminded Hades of Venus. Granted, Venus was a lot younger and into anything that was cute and adorable. This quirk led to her bring home any and all small animals she could get her hands on (squirrels, birds, and hamsters).

    Yes, there were simil…[Read more]

  • Leana scrutinized him quizzically a moment after he asked very abruptly, coiling her soft, red-brown hair into a bun as she considered.

“It means ‘Dear One’ Or ‘Valuable’, ‘Precious’. ‘Beloved’. Eazizun means those… and more. Wahid means ‘One’. ‘Singular’. ‘No other like it’.” She said, watching him with that kind, painfully compassionate loo…[Read more]

  • The world shifted into a hall of black and white tiles from the floor to the ceiling, dizzying sameness that caused an optical illusion of drowning in infinite squares. Blind Guy was grumbling under his breath.

“WE FELL THROUGH ANOTHER HOLE IN REALITY!” Burn shrieked, furiously. Actually angry enough Nathair didn’t feel like annoying hi – he was…[Read more]

  • What to use for a hair tie? *considers just knotting it into a bun, with nothing* But that could still fall out, and she wanted to take Alessio’s advice.

Alessio ducked onto the floor, like he was afraid to be hit, and ripped a strip from the hem of the tablecloth.

Leana’s brows lifted. Her eyes widened when he snapped off the leg of the table.…[Read more]

  • Why was Leana staring at him like that he’d done something horrible he’d done something bad and she was going to hate him for being so rude he shouldn’t have called him a Big Softie even if he wasss.

“Alright. Thank you.” She said and Alessio cringed under her look. He shouldn’t have told her what to do like that he shouldn’t have called him a…[Read more]

  • Thank you for reading! This is all I have so far as I’m trying to figure out how to get Marian out of this situation, I had a plan originally, but it didn’t make sense for the characters involved.

  • She sat at a metal table, cuffed to it. She felt her hands shaking as she looked up at Leo. “Why am I here?”

He nodded. His face unreadable. The silent treatment.

“Can you explain the collar?” she began sweating more.

“I don’t like the collars, but they’ve started using them to prevent captive Enteks from using their abilities. It’ll shock y…[Read more]

  • “Well I guess I know where Jake got his personality from.” Tammi said, “Is Paris even his real dad?”

    “He isn’t.”

    Tammi raised an eyebrow, “Really?”

“Jake’s father divorced Vigga years ago.” Marian touched the necklace, as if on instinct, “She remarried quickly.”

Tammi raised both eyebrows, “Was I supposed to know this?”

    Marian shrugged, “Jak…[Read more]

  • Back at the apartment, Tammi wasn’t lounging around like she usually did, instead, a panel on her thigh was open and she was tinkering with some wires.

    “What’re you doing?”

“My reaction time’s a little slow in this leg… an undergrounder trying to break into an old lady’s house almost got away.” Tammi muttered. There was a spark of electricity an…[Read more]

  • At the gym, again. Marian’s feet pounded as she dashed on the treadmill, she wiped her forehead, puffing. She briefly patted her pocket, the necklace was still there. If she wore it, it would stay on better, but no, that would be too much.

    “Marian?”

She stumbled, the treadmill shutting off as she caught the rail. “Leo.” She caught her breath, “…[Read more]

  • Marian’s second energy drink went flying as someone tripped her. Her arms flung forward, and she turned it into a somersault. She straightened her hoodie, picking up the bottle. “Waste of money…” she muttered before striding away.

    “Aren’t you gonna do anything?”

“No.” She hopped onto a treadmill and began to run, already regretting changi…[Read more]

  • Marian straightened on the couch. Rubbing her eyes. news was off, and Stumpy was yell-meowing. She got up, rubbing her sore neck. She’d found it was easier to fall asleep lately, but the sleep she got wasn’t restful.

She shrugged on a fresh set of clothes, took a brush and smoothed out her messy hair, cringing as she realized she needed to cut…[Read more]

  • Also, as a quick heads-up, if you see a word that looks like this: dViggaive — that’s because I used replace to swap names on a character who was originally called Eris for Vigga, (not sold yet on the name, have to find another eventually) but Word decided to replace any and every place Eris could be found, including where it goes inside derisive. Sorry!

  • Marian boarded the tram, rubbing her temples. She shouldn’t’ve left. That woman could’ve been pretending when she said she was his mother. Maybe the times she’d seen Vigga on screen her appearance had been so retouched that she looked older in real life than the artificially young personage. But even the pictures Fabian had of her on his watch s…[Read more]
