Does Jess deserve an award for being super forgetful??? YEP. *nervous laughter* Thank you, Catherine, for reminding me of this. XD
We have a word war happening, people!
This one is going from Monday to Sunday. If you’ve already written words from Monday to today, count them as well. *facepalm* Still can’t believe I forgot this.

@wordsmith Lol, I haven’t finished A Story of Heroes yet either, so I can’t give you a hard time. How’s the Flabbit Room been? Are there any other Flabbits here?
@evelyn and @trufflehunter Yep, PoYD is pretty great. I might have liked The Deeps of the Dragon King just a smidge better (the guilt! the redemption! the sea dragons!), but it’s a close…[Read more]

@jennythefaun By far, The Places Beyond the Maps was my favorite. It was just so good! Then, like @trufflehunter, The Prince of Yorsha Doon came second. Then the ballad third. (:

@evelyn Remember the “quote” at the beginning of chapter 5 of “The Places Beyond the Maps”? The “Bright Woe of Hadrell and Simi” bit? I wrote what I considered the backstory for it. If y’all want to read it I could start a thread for it, I don’t want to clog up this one 😉
I thought it was pretty awesome. I laughed the hardest at Sophelia Stupe…[Read more]

As an introvert who lives in the middle of nowhere and is known for muttering, “humans” under her breath whenever she’s around other people, I have to say that I often find it hard to actually hang out with people…Even the writerly sort. I mean, what if they’re extroverts? What if there’s more than two of them?
Thankfully, Faith is here today…[Read more]

On that note…
If we haven’t started on a draft in 24 hours, I’m probably just going to start writing. Just so that we definitely have something to hand in. *fingerguns* Ideally, I let you guys write the first draft so that you can practice and grow, but having something happening is the no. 1 priority.
Volunteers,…[Read more]

@trufflehunter Ogden Nash is great. I love his cat poem. xD It’s amazing.
T.S. Eliot’s cat poems? I will have to read them.

@trufflehunter Ah, I think I’ve only read two of your poems, and only one of those were silly/had unexpected elements. I’ve slowed down in writing that style, but last year I was cranking them out rapidly. My little sister inspired a lot of them. (:
Have you read any poems by Shel Silverstein?

@trufflehunter @taylorclogston Okay, thanks! That makes sense.
@j-a-penrose Oooh. Right. I’ve heard of many of those before. Gaslamp? Political? These all sound interesting. I’ll have to look into them. (:

@trufflehunter Oh neat! We should exchange some silly poetry sometime. How do you find topics to write about?
@steward-of-the-pen Aww, thanks! <33
@ariella-newheart I love it! I like the vagueness… it’s uncliched and quite lovely. 🙂

@j-a-penrose Oh dear. XD I need to watch myself with more care, or I’ll get on people’s nerves.
@ariella-newheart I love poems about friendship, but I find them so hard to write! It’s hard not to be cliched in poetry about love whether it be romantic or otherwise.
@trufflehunter Have you written any more fantastical poetry? I just realized that…[Read more]

As Christlover has said, guys, I reckon it’s time for us to get writing!
For all of you old-timers, (You’re over a year old, some of you. Yikes!) you should be pretty familiar with the routine, and it would be great if you keep things going smoothly through the rather chaotic drafting process that’s about to ensue.
The doc we’ll be writing in is…[Read more]

@ariella-newheart Eeeee, friendship poetry can be really cool. (Mostly cos the theme is amazing, and it just seemed to flow really nicely with words.)
@trufflehunter Yay! Glad you enjoy poetry also.

While I’m here, I just wanted to thank you all for being so good with being active and commenting and helping each other out with things. I’m quite often not replying to things, and it’s just great to see you all doing it instead! <3

Hello all!
If you haven’t seen our guild home page, you definitely should check it out. And I know that the running list of current members is completely wrong, but I plan to get Daeus onto that soon. (Or get his permission to let me fix it.)
However, what I want to draw your attention to, is that I’ve talked about ‘biomes.’ Back in our ‘[Read more]
