Well, first off, I was hurting pretty much everywhere! Saying that my insides were turning would be putting it mildly.

“I – Aahhg – I don’t know.” I barely sputtered.

Was it just me, or was the shirt I was wearing feeling uncomfy all of a sudden. That, and rather warm.

Hit me with one. It’ll be a while before I read it, more likely then not.

(Doesn’t even bother reading. I’m not very active, apparently.)

Paul gasped again, indicating that he was alive. Something was differently happening to him.

Suddenly, Paul cried out in pain (I usually don’t use the term “cried out”), and fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

Paul just causally watched. Why did his hands feel tingly?

“Okay.” Paul nodded. “A few questions: Where are we? What’s the hole behind me, and who are all y’all? I’m Paul, by the way.”

A figure burst out of nowhere, almost running straight into the dark hole. He let out a “manly” scream before jumping over the hole in question.

“Where in the name of sanity am I?”
