Hey Sydney, just a real quick message to say I might be a while replying! We’re currently on holiday so I’m trying to manage SE on mobile but I can’t write a lot this way 😂

Anyway, I didn’t forget I’ll get back to you ASAP! ☺️

  • @sydney

I like it! I could see some awesome Christian themes coming from that on the importance of truth and who or what defines what is true.

I forgot to mention my crown’s design. I have a rare/special tree called Icestone in the land of eternal winter that the crown is made from. The tree is made of a crystalline material with a crystal…[Read more]

XD I love it!! XD Payton’s in a character castle at the moment, and I’m am proud that he has managed to keep his more obnoxious side under – relative – control…. for the moment, anyway….he did just get there…. But it’s probably because he made friends with the other character so he’s good!

Ohhh, very impressive of him! (Don’t count on i…[Read more]

Thanks! and to yours as well 🙂

Yeah it can be intimidating, I use some history books that analyze historical battles and the use of the troops. Agree that would be interesting. I have read some novels that referred to the battle like it was currently happening or the results of a past battle and focused on others aspects that were…[Read more]

I am slowly finishing book 1 due to work.

Thanks! I have enjoyed reading battles and sometimes have this feeling of thrill when you know the rightful reasons why this battle is being fought and that the bad guys are going to served proper justice. I have become decent at describing the scene as a whole as I love military strategy and…[Read more]

Yeah, it is but I can’t imagine a more exciting goal. So far I am guessing the first two series will be as long as the ranger’s apprentice that is 16 novels long……… that’s not including the side novels. XD Lol

Yessss! Lord willing I hope to publish it!

XD Lol Thanks! The scene I dream of writing one day, is when the princess…[Read more]

Yay! Bookworm/writer/Middle-Earth fanatics unite! 🙂 Oh yeah, once I pick up a book….well…. I just get lost in my own world…

If you’re a homeschooler then you can add that to the list of unites😂
Yes! Good bye world!! I’ll see you at 3am!! 😂

Tumnus is my baby! XD And my sister has a goat named Lucy….

I’m sorry, but the first half of A Tale of Two Cities tried to kill me😂. I recently got to a part where it’s a little less boring though, so I may survive it😂

    @sydney

Hello again! I believe I need to go respond to some things on yours. I’ll have to do that when I get a moment.

What genre is your WIP? What is it about…

XD I know right!?! Try telling someone who’s not a writer that you can’t control you’re characters and they look at you like you’ve lost your mind…

    Well, maybe they’re right….

Well, they’re definitely not wrong XD

Hope you make it out alive!! See you later!! *winks at characters* Oh man, PAyton deserves (almost) everything I throw at him.…

😂 yes, it is! And it works pretty well because I’m some mild form of pantser.

I do have a current WIP as well as several books waiting to be written. My current one is a dystopian, and the others are one historical fiction and a bunch of (or really one very large) fantasies.

    That’s so hilarious! XD

    That’s okay! And I’d like to…[Read more]

Characters….sometimes they can be so unpredicatable!

Truest thing I’ve heard today *nods sadly*

Yes!! I love throwing Ethan and Payton into the deep end **sorry guys** and hoping they will learn to swim and not sink! OK fine. I apologize to Ethan, but I don’t usually tell Payton I’m sorry. He doesn’t listen to me so I guess he kinda d…

    @sydney

Aww thanks! =) Maybe sometime in the near future they will learn enough wisdom to listen to me XD

😂 For the most part, I just let my characters run wild. Things get interesting when I let them figure out stuff the hard way XD

Hmmmm…..my favorite thing about writing medieval fiction is tha…

Hi Sydney, I’m Emma. Welcome to Story Embers!

We seem to have a lot in common. I’m also a Jesus-loving bibliophile with an obsession for both horses (and drawing them! 😂) and Middle Earth. And Tumnus is the best name ever for a goat.

I love the medieval time period, and your book sounds interesting. I wish you luck with your ref…[Read more]

Plymouth Rocks are what my mom wants to get one day

They’re lovely chickens! We have one who disappeared for a while and came back a few weeks ago with thirteen chicks she hatched in a bush somewhere XD She’s somehow managed to keep all of them alive. How she does it is beyond me, we’ve never gotten more than four or five chicks when just…[Read more]
