Oh don’t worry about it, everyone who joins SE has to wrestle with it for a while XD

You can select someone’s text, then click the ‘quote’ button on the top right of the post! It should paste it into your reply!

The other way is to copy someone’s text, paste it into yours, then select it and click the quote button, on the top left of your reply! (Third button from the left)

Besides that, it often helps to tag someone you’re replying to specifically!

Someone’s tag is the @ username thingy right beneath their username! So mine wouldn’t be Rose, but @ rose-colored-fancy! I hope this helped!
