But Rosario did love Ehud, she did love him romantically, she just didn’t get those…feelings.
Oooh!! I just remembered about this! They’re adorable together! I love it!
Of all obstinate humans, Rosario thought it as if it were an oath. With a monstrous, whinnying laugh she scared off several of the beasts so Rosario decided to leave her to her stubbornness for the moment filing it away as something to be aware of when giving orders.
Honestly, I love the way all the characters are reacting to Liorah XD. I love how Ehud is just like: “Princess Dramatic!!” and Rosario is exactly the opposite. “She’s obstinate and stubborn and I’m not going to forget about this.” I love it! Liorah and Rosario may end up having conflict, but I’d say Liorah respects Rosario at this point, even if she doesn’t know her that well.
I do have a sketchy plot for them and once it starts rolling I’m hoping to publish it as a webtoon series.
That’s so cool! Is Webtoon like Wattpad? (I don’t read anything on Wattpad, since there’s a lot of non-christian stuff, but I use it to share my story with a friend who’s giving comments. )
In fact the plot is about as well plotted as you’d expect if Ehud were writing the plot.
I must admit, I had an immediate vision of how Ehud would write a plot. It involves random notes scrawled on everything from a paper napkin to pink wrapping paper and everything in-between. XD
It began as a draft my brother wrote and asked me to read, it was about an ace pilot, who nobody trusts because he’s half Anakaran (the enemy country), on a mission to safely transport the princess of that country before she gets kidnapped by the Anakara flying country and it was a pretty neat plot and so I asked if I could co-write with him and Ehud and his brother Enoch were originally pretty minor characters and I’m kinda a lot like Ehud when it comes to brainstorming so now there’s a spy family and international espionage and basically I’m details he’s structure and as soon as I can get that dagfusticated Nanowrimo whatamabob to work I can actually start writing with my brother!
It’s so awesome that you’re writing it with your brother! I think it’s going to be awesome! Also, tell me if you need a beta-reader/ critique partner (eventually). I’d love to read it! Even if it’s just to read more of Ehud and Rosario because they’re awesome! (Also, dagfusticated whatamabob is a magnificent phrase and I’m going to use it!)
“Just because isn’t logical it doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense, Rosy.”
I love that! And I love that Ehud called her Rosy, that’s so cute!
Oh, and I love how Liorah is reacting to dragons
Thank you! She’s trying XD The poor thing is getting an awful lot of stuff thrown at her. *Cackles*
Ha ha, you’re right! I don’t really want to go back and read all my old attempts at writing…. I’m afraid I’ll mentally scar myself
LOL, mental scarring is a definite possibility when it comes to my early writing. (I have no idea why I didn’t use paragraphs or any description. At all.)
And that character psychology is great! Not boring at all, and probably a lot more concise than anything I’ve ever tried explaining, lol. That she thinks other people are more important is very good, and it sounds a bit like some of her worldview; which I know is very important but have such a hard time coming up with for my characters.
Thank you! I also struggle with worldview, and I actually didn’t plan any of this. It’s actually quite funny, I had no idea what Liorah was like until I began to write. Then, she just took shape in the second chapter and ran away with the story XD
Aw, thanks!! Personally, I have a soft spot for him — as I do must villains. Like Darth Vader — don’t let me get started, but he is one of my most favorite characters in Star Wars and — Back to topic: Wylo does have a lot of conflict, and I realize that he has to bc of how complicated his back-story is. He’s not your typical villain — as in full-of-hatred-and-ready-to-kill-all-in-his-path. I get that mixed into the story with Waynot, ha ha. I like to think of Wylo as an average person; hurt and confused, trying to work out his life and his sins.
That’s awesome! I like sympathetic villains when they’re well written, but I struggle with writing them XD My main villain is just a nice, common, run-of-the-mill, vengeful, remorseless villain who will happily kill anyone in his path to world peace. I do have one or two morally gray characters, and they’re really fun! My favorite villain is Conner from “The False Prince” He’s totally evil but also brilliantly written!
Also, I LOVE how Wylo rushed to help Liorah and Gwendolyn! (after some inner conflict)
Ha, really? Sadiq’s the only pet I’ve had in my story so far, except one planned for far into the future, but I think that rule might apply for me too… The animals so don’t deserve what the humans get!
I totally agree! I have about three horses, a cow, a raven, a cat, and two camels. (only mentioned) The horses are my favorite, though I’m having some fun with the cow and the raven too. I named the raven Buttercup because I thought that was funny XD
