I got over 11k šŸ˜€ It’s more than I usually do. Or… I guess that’s not totally true. Apparently,Ā I write really fast. I wrote 40k in 8 days in March. But this time, I had skipped a week of Camp Nanowrimo and so decided to sprint to the finish. So I was motivated, I guess.

3k is really good for a week. Better than the big fat zeros I got for years in between drafts šŸ˜‰

Quick question since I don’t see the answer immediately: can we add throughout the week? Or should we just tally it up at the end of the week? Like Sunday?

Sorry if this is elsewhere and I’m not looking hard enough!

Thank you! The longer I sit with the name, more I’m glad I picked it. It’s started to feel like ā€œme.ā€ šŸ™‚

My favorite book is The Hobbit, because I felt so transported reading it! But I think my favorite story is Pride & Prejudice. I can’t seem to get enough of Elizabeth and Darcy…

My favorite book is The Hobbit! I love Tolkein’s style and the way he thought about storycrafting! But I haven’t been able to get past the histories in LOTR 😬 I was inspired to write after reading Libba Bray’s Gemma Doyle series, and right now I’m enjoying Leigh Bardugo. But I’ve always had a hard time picking a ā€œfavorite.ā€

An aside: the author of my MC’s favorite books is named Penrose! Lol

Wow we really do have a lot in common! I also love performance, but it’s been a while. I just recently started sing on my church’s worship team and I am glaringly ignorant of music terms, but I give it my best shot! I don’t have beef cows or teenagers, but I do have three kids under 5. I will survive this stage, right? It sounds like you have a rich, beautiful life! I’m excited to see what your work is like!

Hi!! I’m glad we have a lot in common šŸ™‚ makes me very happy to be here!

My husband will be able to work in his field (technology/management), and hopefully the kids can go to a Japanese-speaking school (a private Christian school would be ideal!) and as for me, I don’t really know. I’d like to keep studying Japanese, and maybe earn a bachelor’s degree someday. But I will definitely keep writing! A lot of people ask ā€œwhy Japanā€ but the only answer we can come up with is just that we like it there!

For reading and writing, I would definitely pick fantasy/YA. But I do feel like I prefer stories that have a good romance. When it comes to writing, I like to experiment. Right now I’m spending a lot of time on developing the world and the characters in my stories, so I just pick whatever genre fits after!
