ori-art

@libby Thank you!  Actually, I am sixteen.  Did I say I was fifteen?

@ori-art Oriana is a beautiful name!  What does it mean?

@ori-art I’m sorry it took this long, but I heard a call for worms and I came.

Still not sure why, though…

Anyways, hai! It is I, David! Nice of you to join us here on SE. Great pictures, by the way. I often wish I could draw (and sing, and paint, and, well, do any and everything vaguely artsy), but all I really can do is stand back and admire…[Read more]

@ori-art You have such a pretty name! I know a little french. How are you learning it?
you draw in your journal? My sister does and it looks great; I only write in mine(it’s more of a dairy!).
Do you have a favorite season? I like Andrew Peterson too, but I haven’t heard anything from that album. Maybe I’ll check it out!

@ori-art Oh, so cool! 😀 No, I don’t know any other languages. I know a few french words that I have picked up from my sisters though. They started to learn french sometime last year. If I could learn any language, I think Norse or Skandian would be epic. Just because I love Iceland. <3 <3 Apparently it’s a really hard language to learn though.…[Read more]

@ori-art
Those are so awesome! Love it. Thanks for showing us!
I think your profile looks like some type of sea with clouds all around it 🙂
I like drawing people best,too! I can show you some art.
 I made this first one in September.
   The last one is done in watercolor. I am not experienced in watercolor yet but I plan to perhaps use it as my…[Read more]

@ori-art I’m okay with that! Just don’t ask me for my address. :’D I’m 18.  Ooh, I see! That’s cool. I can’t think of any names that start with “Ori” but I bet your name is super pretty. ^-^ Had anyone ever called you oreo before? 😀

@libby Thank you! I’ve only cared about drawing since around 2016. Though since then I have formed the habit of…[Read more]

@ashira WOW – AMAZING!!!!!!  You’re crazy good!  By the way, I’m fifteen, too. 😉

@ori-art Your art is superb, too!  I love the baby. 🙂
You play spikeball!?  That’s awesome!  You’re one of the only people I know who actually knows what it is!  I love piano!  And singing!  What sort of things do you play and sing?  Do you have a preference…[Read more]

@ori-art It looks to me like Princess Zelda from one of the Legend of Zelda games. (I couldn’t tell you which one, though, since I’ve only ever played Twilight Princess. Ocarina of Time, maybe?)

EDIT: A Google image search has revealed that it is not Ocarina of Time, but Breath of the Wild.

@ori-art, Hey, and welcome! 🙂

I just have to say, I love your drawing of the baby!😍 You did a wonderful job with the shading and everything.

I would definitely encourage you to try out charcoal. I’ve done a couple drawings in charcoal, and I was a little scared at first because I had no idea how to use it, but I was really happy with how they…[Read more]

@ori-art BRUH! Love those books! Glad to meet a fellow fan. xD

@i-david @the-fledgling-artist @parker @selah-chelyah @seekjustice @ori-art Thank you all! <3

(Also, @ori-art, is your signature from the Mysterious Benedict Society? xD)

@ori-art No, I have not seen or read The Princess Bride.  I have however picked up quite a few quotes from it by simply reading posts on Story Embers. 😀

“I’m a fast learner.”

@ori-art Cool pictures!

Actually my quote is from Beyond the Mask, my favorite movie!

I like lions a lot, Aslan included.  I also have a WIP about early Christians called Facing the Lions.

Idaho is amazing!  When were you here?

Boy so many replies, thank you for making me feel welcome here!

@parker, hmmm, my strongest point? That’s tough, I’m still learning all the writing terms lol.😄 Probably character development? My weakest is  show don’t tell.

@ashira foxes forever is just a saying because my main characters are 🦊 😁. My favorite birds are the great blue heron, bald…[Read more]

@ori-art  Thank you! It’s an original character from a project I’m working on. (it’s going very slowly.) I’m thinking I might need to rework her design a little though, as it reminds me a little too much of an already existing character. Her name is Elinore.

I think you’re pretty stellar, Ori! By the way.. Is Ori your real name? It’s so pretty.

@ori-art

I LOVE basically all animals so yes I do really like lions. And yes I do love Aslan and Narnia and C.S.Lewis. XD

@ori-art Those are great too! 😀

@ori-art The title of your forum made me laugh out loud. XD

Anyways! Welcome to Story Embers! I’m sure you’ll love it here… and WOW! Your drawing is stunning! Fantastic job!

@ori-art Another artist!!  Your picture is AMAZING!  Wow!

I am fifteen and I like to paint and draw.  I use mostly acrylic paint, though I have tried both watercolor and oil.

Selah Chelyah is my older sister and since she is not an artist, I am her illustrator.  Its a lot of fun!

@ori-art  Mmm, not particularly, I guess! 🙂

I am 17 for another couple of months anyway, and live in N. Idaho (gorgeous as well!!).

Your picture is AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT!!! WOW!!!
