Well, I’ve almost started. I already know what I want to do, but I still need to flesh it out.

Basically, this is my strategy: I don’t want to submit a typical sunset description. I want it to stand out from everything else, so I know I need to forget every hackneyed sunset scene I know of.

I’m thinking of a sunset in a world that’s coming to an end. Or maybe not ending, it’s just . . . broken. Desolate. Shattered. Dark.

Something like that. That’s my idea, anyway, and you guys will probably be able to drastically improve on it. If it even goes anywhere. I’m sure you all have better ideas, better insights, and all that.

Any suggestions?
