Alrighty, so the officials ruled that Knaphollow didn’t get finished in time for the contest, but I read this anyway and am here with my judges comments.

WOW. Very good guys. Very, very good. First off, I’m a sucker for fantasy type settings, so a battlefield with swords and arrows instantly grabbed my attention.

The main character drove me absolutely crazy, which is actually a good thing. You guys made me feel an emotion. Well done. And it made for the character arc at the end to be really good.

The pacing was great, and so was the world building, With all the monsters, as well as the setting descriptions. The allegorical side of things was very well done too.
