Andrew, this is really an awesome poem. The way you wove truth into your words with the simple sway of your rhythm gave me such satisfaction as I read. Thank you for sharing this 🙂

My heart… wow.
This is… this is just so beautiful. I love how it just muses and wonders and wanders right down, and as it seems like the whole thing’s just about to fade away, you surprise us with the lovely conclusion that is so true! I love it so much, Cindy <3 Bravo! -

Wow, Sarah, this is beautiful and poignant. What a creative reminder of God’s faithfulness and sovereignty over our lives. How many times have I been that child–questioning my Father as he prunes me? This is so sweet…it was such a blessing to read it <3

Gabrielle, thank you for sharing this. I think it’s definitely easy to fall into the category of authors who just throw random things that make the story interesting in just for the sake of getting it in. I so appreciated what you talked about under “make pain meaningful” and “tragic stories mirror reality”. So true–thanks for this great reminder <3

@evelyn Woah! So cool! Which club will you be with? You should come up to Washington for a tournament! Espresso Cup’s our biggest 😉
My name? That’s funny 🙂 Both are relatively common names.@kb-writer Yeah, that is weird. You do have a sister named Anna, though, right?

@kb-writer Yay!!!! I’m so glad you’re going! I wasn’t sure, but now… yes, we definitely need to find each other! I’ll be competing in OI, OO, and Apol. My name’s actually Elizabeth Powell 😉
Also, one question I’ve been meaning to ask, do you have a sister named Anna Baker who wrote an article for the Rebelution.com?

@kb-writer SO SORRY I’ve neglected to respond!!! Life is extremely busy right now, prepping for NITOC, last minute decisions, and right now building a new room in our house. So…yeah. Life is crazy. But, I’m so sorry anyways. I should’ve let you know I couldn’t respond for a bit.
Okay, so here are my thoughts. I have some suggestions here…[Read more]

Wow Dakota, this brought me to tears. Maybe it’s just been a tough couple of months for me, but this spoke to my soul. I was so blessed to be able to read this. Aside from the message of hope, the rhyming and word choice you used were amazing and so lyrical. Thank you for sharing–never stop! Keep it up for the Lord, Dakota! <3

@h-jones Oh my goodness!! I’m so sorry I just now saw this! I’m praying for you right now, (even if it’s a bit late!) Any results yet?
Also, so neat that you guys use your musical talents for the Lord 🙂 It’s been too long since we’ve talked with each other, but know that you are in my thoughts and in my prayers. Love you! <3~
