Alrighty people. First of all, thanks so much for all your help in the doc. You could set up as an editing team and take over the world. ;P

We’re still a few dozen words over the limit, but that shouldn’t be too hard to fix with some more clipping. Right now I’m just going to open the floor for general thoughts on the point of the prompt— Julian’s voice.

I feel like I captured our original idea imperfectly, and though we’d probably need a lot more words to make it perfect, I’d still like to feel around and shore up weak places if we possibly can.

1. How easily did his voice draw you in?
2. How quickly were you emotionally engaged?
3. How was the balance between childish emotions and an unusually ‘smart’ head?
4. How clearly were you able to discern his personal story?
5. How consistent was he as a character?
6. How realistic did his child’s perspective feel?
7. How engaging/interesting/re-readable was his voice?
