GREAT JOB EVERYONE!! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING! (I got some work done on my plotting yesterday morning, was thinking happily about the word count, then remembered plotting doesn’t count. 😂)
@writercatherine that’s still awesome! 😀 You just brought us 125 words closer to winning! *high five*
@j-a-penrose Woah, that’s a lot!
@evelyn @jade You…[Read more]

@steward-of-the-pen I know, right?! I saw one blogger this month say ‘good glory!’ and now I keep using it! 😂

@j-a-penrose Good! Because I just wrote 405 words. The prompt was on the Mona Lisa, so I had already used up the good idea on it. 😛 Oh well! I’ll try to get some more writing in sometime soon!

@j-a-penrose I am still plotting, actually, but have been writing random, short clips of writing at least once a week recently. (this is actually thanks to my Creative Writing course, because my teacher always gives us a prompt at the beginning of class and 10 minutes to write on it) Is it okay if I count that for the word war?

I also just read over that and realized that I switched tenses an embarrassingly large amount of times. 😂

@j-a-penrose Ooooooh, this should be fun! *deviously begins scheming*
“No,” I whisper into the silence.
They thought I didn’t have a choice. They told me I didn’t have one.
But I was still alive.
They never kept someone alive unless they wanted them to make a choice. One that would give them the right to kill.
It was all I had left. A…

WHOO! YAY US! (also, sorry that I didn’t do much after the original was written; I was super busy, but it’s also a good thing because as a writer, I get attached to what I write, and what you changed was for the best 😜)

Julia replied to the topic Lesson 19 : Chapters in the forum Annual Theme Discussion 8 years ago
@j-a-penrose I hope your mom feel better!
A great way someone once described chapters is like a TV series. Each chapter is an episode. During each episode, they end with something that makes you ask questions, and sit through commercials (or, in the case of my family, skip it in the recording 😂) to find out what happens. And, at the end,…[Read more]

On the subject of video games, have any of you ever played a Wii one called Super Paper Mario? My eldest sister got it a few years ago, and we all still love it so much. The thing is, have you ever played any Mario games? Let’s take a generic look at them: Bowser wants Peach. Bowser ki…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose I love Camp NaNoWriMo, because I’m in cabins with blogger friends, but this will be fun because of the guild! 😃 I’m hoping to be done plotting my trilogy by the end of October so that I can start my rough draft for NaNoWriMo. 😉

@jane-maree Sorry I’m late 😛 I meant to do this, but then it got buried underneath a few other tabs. 😂
First sentence:
The waves keep a consistent, soothing rhythm against the shore in the silence of the night.
Second sentence:
The waves pound against the shore, their loud roaring stark against the silence of the night.

@ariella-newheart BATTLESHIIIIIIIP! I love playing that one on the physical board. My younger sisters seem to enjoy it on electronic devices, but it’s so much more epic doing it physically. 😛

@writercatherine @steward-of-the-pen @esjohnson @evelyn @emily-d I’ll try writing the first draft, then; also, I’m using the name Dave as a placeholder for the time traveler. We can come up with a better one, but I might as well do this while I have time right now 😝

@steward-of-the-pen I didn’t see them till after 😛
And I love the idea of him ending up during the ten plagues. 😂 I can just imagine the havoc! What if it was the last place he was at, and we end the story with Leonardo coming back into his studio, and finding everything as he left it… except for an exceptionally large amount of frogs.…[Read more]
