On the subject of video games, have any of you ever played a Wii one called Super Paper Mario? My eldest sister got it a few years ago, and we all still love it so much. The thing is, have you ever played any Mario games? Let’s take a generic look at them: Bowser wants Peach. Bowser kidnaps Peach. Peach cries out, “MARIOOOOOO!” Mario goes through levels. Mario defeats Bowser. Sometimes Luigi helps. Sometimes there are Toads. Sometimes there are mystical beings named Rosalina in Super Mario Galaxy. THE END.

Seriously, that sums up the majority of them. 😂

But with Super Paper Mario, it’s an actual story. The characters all have PERSONALITY. Mario doesn’t really say anything, because he’s you, but he questions this guy who’s telling you how to use your Wii remote by asking what the A button is (which is awesome, since no characters ever wonder about that). Bowser is sarcastic and hot-headed. Peach actually does more than yell for help and helps them get into one place because she’s a ‘hot babe’ (that one is a funny level) Luigi helps out and can jump really high. There’s an Unwhere and Overthere, pure hearts you must collect in different worlds, OUTER SPACE, pixels (little guys that help you out) and even the villains all have personality. Seriously. It’s EPIC. We still quote this game, and we love watching it being replayed. ACTUAL PLOT. ACTUAL CHARACTER PERSONALITY. IN A VIDEO GAME. It’s the best Mario one ever. *heart eyes*

So anyway, if you ever want a Wii game, buy that one if you can. You literally get to play your game and learn about writing as you go along.
