@katherineh I don’t know anything about paramedics either. Maybe since you came up with the idea, you’s like to write it? If you want to. 🙂 If you’d like you can research the procedure paramedics go through when treating accident victims or just how they handle emergencies, etc.
I’m not sure if splitting the scene between two writers is the best…[Read more]

@snapper Awesome. I really like that you can make your own goal for the camp NaNo instead of the set 50k for the one in November. 🙂 I won’t be doing camp nano in April, but I’m think about doing it for July.
Ooh yes they are much fun to play with. 😉

@snapper Cool. 🙂 What’s your goal for nano?
I’m working on a bit of character development for a new WIP.

@katherineh Right, doing this believably is going to be the hardest part. Doing it from a paramedic’s POV would be interesting…
Ugh, there was a good article about writing believable conversion scenes on kingdompen.org, but the site isn’t working at the moment. 🙁

What do you all think about this: you know how when people get into an accident or something, someone (a Christian) might ask the person seriously hurt whether they know the Lord? Well what if someone helping is not a Christian, and is trying to help a hurt person near death, but instead the injured person asks him whether or not he knows the…[Read more]

@mckinley I’ve heard some people suggest that if you’re having trouble writing about guys, to ask the men or boys in your life questions about how they think about your character’s situation, how they might react to certain things, etc.
I personally don’t think that being a singer and a poet is super girly. I think just as long as you don’t make…[Read more]

@rochellaine AH I LOVE THOROUGHBREDS! They are so much fun to ride. 😀 Do you ever watch horse racing? Paints are pretty too. <3
Oh, okay. I hope the training and everything goes well! 🙂
Riding sidesaddle would be really interesting! I once heard of someone that jumped horses in a sidesaddle. O.O
Well, I’m gonna leave for now…[Read more]

@theresa-play Ah, yes, I’ve heard of that. I just must not have known what it was called. 🙂
Yes, different oils have different benefits. The raindrop feeling is probably just for the relaxation/calming effect.
I don’t see why a suburban backyard isn’t perfect for horses. 😛

WHAT YOU GOT HORSEZZZ?! O.O *tries not to drown you in questions* What breed? Color? Do you ride them western or english? CONGRATULATIONS! 😀 😀 😀

I believe the term ‘raindrop’ comes from the fact that for this therapy, you drip essential oils on the person’s (or horse’s) spine, mimicking the feel of gentle raindrops. The equine version is very similar, just for horses. It’s good for physical, emotional, and immune system benefits.

Great. 🙂 Oh, don’t you graduate soon? Or is that next year?
I’m finishing highschool this year, and after graduating I’m going to continue to write books (of course), train horses, and possibly look into equine Raindrop therapy. 🙂
