Hello hello Parimis!

This is your stand-in guildmaster, and I’m here to call you to arms! War has been declared once again, and we must come out with full force.

Because J.A. Penrose is away for the week, I was already half guildmastering you for this war, but since she was gone, I volunteered her (I’m her cousin, so I’m allowed to do things like that) to be the judge this time around! So I’ll be here the whole time to help you out when needed. 😉

Anywho, let’s get straight to the details:

The prompt: write a comedy based on the Mona Lisa

The dates: Monday 1st – Monday 15th

You know the drill.

1. Brainstorm here on this topic. Decide on the story concept, choose characters, etc.
2. Write a scene in this google doc HERE. You can each add your ideas into the story and help. (NOTE: the scene has to be under 2500 words)
3. Edit. Polish. Make sure that this is the best story you can do. Also make sure the comedy will make Jess totally crack up laughing the whole way through.

So get to brainstorming! Here’s some questions to get you thinking:

– Is the story going to be set at the time the mona lisa was being painted, or is it set in a more modern time?
– who’s the POV character?
– What funny elements could you use that no one else would think of?
