@piperbee Totally. I’m not the kind of person who asks for work to be edited until I know it’s as good as I can make it, so I’ll probably end up replotting the book and then rewriting it 😛

This is a tough question. I think I would go with including the premises of the three stories since they’re all different genres. If I thought a book was going to be contemporary / adventure all the way through, I’d be very surprised when the stories switched to fantasy, then sci-fi. I think it’d be a really good heads-up.

Wow, yeah. This sounds like good advice. I just finished the second draft of my book and there’s still developmental stuff that needs fixing. It feels like I’m back to square one, but I guess in reality all my characters have already been developed. Still, it’s a total pain and I’m really not looking forward to ripping it apart. XD

I like those ideas, too! I just think that we should probably stay away from the cliche choose-your-own adventure style.

I like looking back at what I’ve previously written and finding the hidden gems 🙂

Absolutely agree. Also, reading can really give you inspiration when you most need it and get you back to writing again.

I’ve been ready to fight back if people try to pull me down about my writing, but honestly no one has really done that and sometimes I get worked up over nothing. Maybe what I need to do is figure out a backup plan for if it comes up, and figure out how to put things in a nice way.

Just one thing though – as someone who has a number of Korean friends, the English translation of their names could be spelled a bit differently. @corissa @eden-anderson I agree with the bittersweet part. I mean, I love happy endings, but very rarely is The Perfect Ending™ executed well. We want to leave the reader satisfied, not underwhelmed by the cliche ‘everyone is happy!’ ending. 😉
