Gabrielle Pollack replied to the topic What's the hardest thing about being a writer? in the forum Weekly Theme Discussion 7 years, 2 months ago
@kate Oooo. I can relate to ya, Kate. Though I feel like I take myself seriously as a writer, I hate talking about it to non-writerly people. I have this little nagging feeling that tells…[Read more]

Gabrielle Pollack replied to the topic How can I make this character matter?? in the forum Characters 7 years, 2 months ago
@the-fledgling-artist Some ideas: Could she have some connection with the villain/antagonist? Could she be a traitor (I have a feeling that’s not the direction you want to go in, but I thought I’d throw it out anyway XD)? Does anyone in the team go to her for advice? Could her brother have some sort of telepathic connection to her that lets them…[Read more]

It took a long time to manipulate the plot to show Justin’s true self, but I’m glad he turned out as he did. I’m honored he became worthy of admiration.
Your words mean so much. Thank you for the encouragement. <3

Ack. Yes. Stillness is super important but hard to enforce, especially for people who don’t want to slow down XD. I find that journaling gives me a chance to ease up and truly understand what’s going on around me. It also helps me see, record, and appreciate the order and the patterns in life, which gives me a chance to better represent this…[Read more]
