Reasons My Characters Didn’t Sleep:

Dayton: Someone’s house caught fire in the middle of the night. Guess where she went . . .

Alan: Same reason, or because he was planning out a practical joke.

Jack: Same reason again, or because he was thinking about someone special . . .

Rob: Out with his client late at night, or was worried about his safety when he wasn’t assigned with him.

Micheal: Same reason, or because he got carried away listening to Irish music.

Jim: Oh, boy! Could one of many reasons . . .  had to be running for his life, working with a horse, he hurt/sick to the point where he couldn’t sleep, stuff like that.

Megyn: Couldn’t stop thinking about someone she’s concerned about, someone was hurt/sick and she’s taking care of them, or because she was seized with the urge to write or play her cello by moonlight.
