Hand Painted
Springtime meadow sprinkled with color
From flowers of the field in their fairest blossom
The hummingbirds all shimmer with hues
All painted by a Creator God so awesome

Stormy summer days charged with power
They blacken the blue skies with their dark thunderheads
The lightning bolts go blazing with light
All flashing from the clouds the Almighty’s hand spreads

These hand-painted scenes You created
Are Masterpieces manifesting
How Your wisdom is integrated
In the backdrop and the details
A palate of colors inspired by the Divine.
To praise all of His works I’ll lift this voice of mine.

Rugged hills along rippling river
All cloaked with the red flames only fall is known to own
The embers of color burn down the bank
Unrivaled in the vibrance that His sinless hands tone

Snowflakes whiten the winter winds
They frost o’er the spruce needles, the bright crimson berries
Of holly, the frozen sod and the lake.
Each fallen from the Lord’s invisible treasuries

Each hand-painted scene You created
Is a Masterpiece manifesting
How Your wisdom is integrated
Into the backdrop and the details

Gentle waves of a tropic ocean
They’re lapping the black shadows on sand-laden shoreline.
A palate of colors inspired by the Divine.

Misted mountains in shrouds of gray
Are standing among shaded and hazy hollows of green
A palate of colors inspired by the Divine.
To praise all of His works I’ll lift this voice of mine.
