Springtime

Today is a beautiful April day

A steady breeze is blowing

Buds on the trees are showing

Today is beautiful in ev’ry way

 

The sky is a cloudless blue above me

The golden sunlight’s shining

Grass in the fields swaying

Life is on everything that’s around me

 

A thought comes rather suddenly to me

This how my outlook on life should be

 

Springtime,  renewing my mind all the time

With waters of life flowing

From foundations of God’s Living Word

Live like the breeze dancing

Springtime, blooming out in joy all the time

Like a blossom opening,

The fragrance of God’s Living Word

Singing praises to the King.

Springtime in my life all of the time.

 

The times change and the seasons pass away

But in my soul I want it

To always be ev’ry bit

Springtime in every possible way

 

New life comes forth all the time in the spring

So I want the life inside

To spring forth and never hide

A flower of testimony for my King.
