I wrote 6 chapters last week. I finished Uncle Tom’s Cabin this week.

I didn’t make any goals here this week. :/ But I made them in my other group and am failing.

– Write 6 chapters of Checkmate. I’m almost done… I’m aiming for September 15. I still need like 25,000 words to hit the YA fantasy word count.

– Finish reading Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Which is really good and you should go read if you haven’t already. It nearly made me cry a few times. (And I almost never cry during books or movies.)

My WIP is called Checkmate. It’s about a group of “rebels” who are trying to get the rightful king back on the throne. The group is a mix of elves and humans. Plus I have a few other races. And my villain is obsessed with chess, hence the title. 😀

-write 3 more chapters of Checkmate

-read 3 chapters of writing platform book by Friday

-create monthly goals to email to my mentor (by Thursday) *coughs*

-beta read at least a little bit
