Hi guys! This is the story I submitted for the story contest. Obviously, it didn’t win. So, could you critique it?

It’s 5,646 words long, so 12 pages.

There is a murder and an attempt at suicide. But nothing gory or descriptive.

I have the gut feeling it’s too preachy.

I’m not looking for spelling/grammar edits. More of flow, theme, that kind of thing. 🙂
