By Grace M.
Worry, worry, worry,
What have you done to me?
You have instilled a restless heart
That should rest in the King.
Doubt, doubt, doubt,
When will you flee from me?
I cannot help but speculate
If my Father will leave.
Fear, fear, fear,
Why have you caused such harm?
These anxious thoughts always abound.
Can I trust in His heart?
Hope, hope, hope,
Why did I let you go?
You promised I would be okay
Since He will hold me close.
Faith, faith, faith,
When will I cling to you?
I want to learn to trust the Lord,
Because He’ll see me through.
Grace, grace, grace,
You say there’s freedom here.
I don’t need to put up a fight,
Because He calms my fears.
