Within only minutes, Zeinli watched Will and Noaa coming in on jetpacks. Each man held on to one of Reels ankles, who held his gun at the ready to shoot down any droids in his path.
“Anyone need air support?” Will laughed through the comm system.
Goane grinned and held his saber at the ready, watching Reel shoot down half of the droids in one swoop, hanging half upside-down.
“Woohooooo!!!” The heavy gunner cried out.

Gryphon’s, Ivaylo’s, and Bo’s shots hit the cameras simultaneously.
A cacophony of alarms sounded.
Ivaylo lit his lightsaber and slashed the lock of the great metal door which held the king. He extended his hand and focused his energy on the door, slowly pulling it backwards. With a resounding crash it fell to the ground, and the startled face of the king looked up.
“Jedi?” He asked. “You are here to rescue me?”
“Yes, you majesty, but we have to hurry,” Bo’ said. Ivaylo cut the king’s binders and helped him up.
“Thank you,” the king said gratefully as the four sprinted down the halls. Ivaylo just nodded.
“Our way our is over-” the general cut off as they rounded the corner, coming face to face with a dozen battle droids.
What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.
Bo’ glanced at Gryphon, “Do you think we can take ’em?”
Gryphon shrugged, handing the king a gun, “If his highness is a good shot, we have a chance.”
The king stared at the blaster with wide eyes, he looked terrified.(Sry it’s super short)

“Attack!!” The commanding battle droid screeched.
Bo’ and Gryphon began firing back immediately. Ivaylo activated his lightsaber and an energy shield on his vambrace, taking the defensive. They backed up to use the corner as cover.
Just before they ducked away, the king fired three perfect shots in rapid succession.
His paw shook as it held the blaster aloft.
“Ah, beginner’s luck?” Gryphon offered.
“You could say that,” the king said, panting.
“We can only get to the hatch if we take down all of these droids!” Bo’ called over the din. “We don’t have the firepower for that!”
“Or,” Ivaylo said, nodding suggestively at the large glass window to their side. “We could take an alternate route.”
Gryphon paused his attack. “Good plan,” he said, and shattered the window with one blast.

The rest of Jaina’s group soon arrived just in time to help, for another group of droids was matching in.
They looked rough, but they were ready.
Will and Noaa flew Reel in for another swoop. “Yeeehaawwww!” The gunner yelled.
Cresh smiled as he watched his fellow brother.
“Where are all these droids coming from?” Jaina called as she quickly maneuvered through the clutter of destroyed battle droids, pausing to shoot one of the incoming with her bow.
Zeinli shrugged, “I don’t know!” She called back.
“Master!” Goane hurried to Zeinli, “maybe one of us should sneak past the droids and see.” He suggested.

Solstice exchanged a look with Goane, and then pulled up her hood. The two sheathed their lightsabers and crept away from the battle. They moved deeper into the thin alleyways and streets of the city, and the sounds of battle lessened.
“The droids’ source should be somewhere in that direction,” Goane said in a low voice, pointing ahead and to their right. Solstice nodded, crouched lower, and kept her hand near her weapon.
Goane’s mouth was set in a grim line, and he continued on with speed. Solstice breathed deeply to ease her nerves.
The sound of clanking grew louder and louder as the two neared their destination.

Goane’s eyes widened as a large structure came into view. “What in the name of bantha poodoo firepower is that?” He murmured, glancing at Solstice.
She shrugged, “A factory?”
His purple eyes moved back to the structure. He nodded, “This doesn’t look good.”
“Should we go back and tell your master?”
Goane paused, “No… I can tell Jaina…”

“We have to get in there and shut it down,” Goane said, and Solstice nodded in agreement. She carefully studied the layout and posted guards of the factory, as Ivaylo had taught her to do.
“Which side is our best bet?” Goane asked.
“On the back wall I sense only two wolf-people, and… I’m not sure how many droids. Maybe ten?” Solstice concentrated harder to no avail. She shrugged. “It’s a bit of a gamble.”
“I was always a pretty lucky guy,” Goane grinned. “Let’s go.”

Jaina paused as Goane’s voice echoed through her head. Her eyes widened and she hurried to her cousin. “Zeinli!!”
Zeinli dodged a blast and turned to her cousin. “What?”
“Goane and Solstice found a droid factory, and they are going to shut it down.”
Zeinli’s eyes widened too, but she nodded.
Jaina spoke again, “Do you think that they can do it?” There was a concern in her voice as she pulled back the string of her bow.
“It’s a long shot, Jaina.” Zeinli murmured, “but if anyone can do it, they can.”
Jaina nodded and glanced at the direction the Padawans had gone. “Stay safe, Goane..” She murmured."If your goal is purity in heart, be prepared to be thought very odd." -Elisabeth Elliott
Solstice and Goane crept around to the back of the factory, careful to avoid the watchful eyes of the droid sentries and wolf-people.
The Padawans dashed forward and crouched against the side of the building, directly underneath an unsuspecting wolf-person standing on the catwalk above. They waited in tense silence until he moved on, and then they inched toward the corner.
“Hey, stop right-!” Goane instantly silenced the battle droid that appeared from their left. He deactivated his lightsaber, and he and Solstice pressed themselves against the wall.
“I thought I ‘eard something over there,” a wolf-person rasped. “Go check it out, droids.”
“Here they come,” Goane whispered. A moment before the droids rounded the corner, he and Solstice attacked.

Goane slashed through droid after droid with Solstice at his side doing the same.
“Uh-oh.” A droid muttered.
“Jedi?!” Another cried.
Then they were silenced.
Goane jumped up on a small ledge and looked around. They had yet to be discovered by the other droids and wolf people. He slinked over to a vent and gestured for Solstice to follow him as he opened it and crawled in."If your goal is purity in heart, be prepared to be thought very odd." -Elisabeth Elliott
The air was stale and suffocating. Solstice squirmed, trying to get in a more comfortable position. Even with her small stature the shaft was cramped. Goane must have had it even worse than her, but he made little complaint.
“Where are we going?” Solstice asked him.
“The energy source,” Goane grunted. “If I’m right, it should be pretty close.”
“Okay,” Solstice said, and then slowed. “Um, Goane?”
“Yeah?”
“Once we… sabotage or… shut down the power, how… how are we supposed to get out?”
Goane paused. After a few moments, he looked over to Solstice and smiled reassuringly. “I’m sure we’ll think of something. C’mon, we have to hurry.”

Bo’ glanced at the king. He was having trouble keeping up, but the three knew they all had to hurry in order to reach the ship before the separatists found it.
As they hurried they were careful to dodge droids and wolf people. They couldn’t compromise this any more than they had to.
A nearby explosion sounded, the king jumped and Gryphon tensed.

Rookie dodged several shots and leapt over the make-shift barricade that everyone was hiding behind. With the number of gunners they had now, they were just barely keeping the droids at bay. Wave after wave of battle droids pounded their forces, and they were weakening.
“Our distraction won’t last much longer if Goane and Solstice don’t get that factory down,” Jaina said, and then fired three rapid shots with her energy bow.
“Even without the factory we don’t have much time,” Zeinli said.
“I hope General Quillon and Bo’ are out of that castle by now,” Will added. “Because we need to fall back soon. We can’t take much more of this.”
“Of course the general got out. He’s probably halfway back to the rendezvous by now,” Rookie spoke up, faithfully defending his leader’s reputation.
“I sure hope you’re right,” Steady murmured.

Goane carefully pried open the vent and peered out. No droids.
He climbed out and helped Solstice down.
The two looked around the room, then met each other’s eyes.
