    So I’m pretty new XD

and I have noticed that y’all do character castles a lot in the fantasy topic.

I am just a wondering what they are, they look interesting and sound fun.

Character Castles are when you drop one or more of your characters in a castle. The one I’m in, the ‘What If These Characters Met’ forum, also includes characters from books and movies, as well as your own characters. They’re very fun, and I enjoy doing them. The usual limit is ten people. Hope this was helpful!

Ah. You have found the motherlode. Character castles are meant to help develop and/or test one’s hero, villain or even side characters. By pitting them in a rather lawless environment, one can see how to properly design their reactions to people, actions and ideas one would not consider.

What do the characters do in a character castle? Well, it depends. Usually try to find a way home. Fight a villain. Pretty much almost anything. I do suggest joining one, or joining/starting a collaborative story, as these are very fun.

    Is roleplaying allowed here?

Back when I was on Ydubs, there was a certain time during the month when we could rp, and the rest of the month we couldn’t. I wasn’t just wondering on what the standing on rp was here.
