Wow. That’s… sad. *decides to go and give ’em a piece of my writerly mind XDDD*
As far as enemies go, I think you’d be hard pressed to make them, because unless you really step on toes, kids are just bored with life, and have nothing to love for greater than themselves, because the vast majority aren’t saved.
EXACTAMUNDO!!! *coughs* I mean, that’s what makes me really passionate about public schools – from what I’ve heard, so much of your “happiness” depends on popularity, or if you’re dating/who you’re dating, if you do sports, etc. There seems to be a lot of smoking and drugs and talking about suicide. Honestly, I think a lot of public schoolers forget to go outside and smell the roses once in a while, y’know? Then again, I’ve never gone to a public school for more than one class, so I’m most CERTAINLY not an expert. 😉
PLUS there are so many who haven’t even heard about God or, if they have, don’t believe that he loves them, or that he’s powerful enough to save them, or that he even exists. A couple girls in my youth group once went around their school putting up sticky notes that said “Jesus loves you”, and a kid went around behind them pulling them down. 🙁
And as for the enemies, yep, I’d be planning on stepping on toes. Which would probably get me in a lot of trouble. *scolds my tongue for speaking before I think about it*
so how’s life going for you? Anything new come up?
Erm, not much. I’ve started driving, which is… interesting. XD I also joined a really cool writing program called The Young Writer’s Workshop – it’s very helpful if you’re serious about writing. Both you and Denali should check it out!! What about you? How is the flying going?
Whelp *also butting into conversation*
Join the club! *high-fives*
I can tell you that I certainly didn’t have a hard time making plenty of enemies at my skating rink.
#1 OOH YOU SKATE?!?! COOLNESS!! What kind of skating do you do? #2 Aw, sorry to hear that. :/
Actually, enemies is not the right word for it. People who ignore me with a passion because they don’t like me for no particular reason. If they were fighting me and insulting me, I’d have not problem with it. But getting ignored…
Yeah, that’s rough. Hey, maybe you can buy them chocolate and anonymously drop it in their shoes or pockets or something sometime. 😛
The extrovert in me hates it.
Does this mean you’re an extroverted writer, or an introverted extrovert writer? XD
You should – they’re pretty good, aside from some of the goriness. Don’t watch the Hobbit though, unless you’re ok with a completely different story. *frowns at Hobbit movies* And OOF fav. characters are so hard!! Um… for both movies and books Aragorn and Sam are a tie. Sam’s so loyal and sweet and simple, but Aragorn is my typical-favorite-character-trope of serious, grim, handy with a sword, and secretly a pretty important human being. 😛 I like Faramir in the books pretty well, but not so much the movies. *shrugs* Legolas… he’s ok, I guess. I used to like him a lot, but he’s been replaced by Sam. 😛
