“Come,” the boy said to her softly, offering fruit to her.
This boy was testing her limits. And he was looking at her with an emotion that she had not seen in a long time. Was that truly-?
Mayra paled and took a step back. She didn’t want this. She didn’t deserve this kindness, this – compassion. Why? Why was he so good to her? Why was he looking at her like that?
“Are you – not afraid?” She said coolly and held out her hands, Reddish energy burst to life in her palms, her power running through her veins. “This – makes others – afraid. I hurt – with this.”
She turned away, bitterness filling her head like a dark cloud. “I – am bad. Don’t – you see?”

I’m doing pretty good. We just got back from vacation early this morning, and now I’m getting some school stuff ready for next week.

Thanks for asking! Its quite complicated haha but I like red roses because they played a big part in strengthening my relationship with God. You could call it a mystical experience 🙂 but ya I love the colour red and red roses are now my favourite.
And your very welcome 🙂 that sounds lovely, where did you go on your vacation? The only vacation I’ve gone on this summer was a two day retreat haha.
Ya I’m getting ready to go back to college myself. Are you looking forward to getting back to school or not so much? 🙂

Red roses are beautiful.
We went to Disney World, and did stuff there. And we went to a beach! That was really fun. (:
My little sister and I built a sandcastle, and walls and trenches… Finding shells and swimming was fun too.

I’m nervous, and excited, about going back to school. There’ll be a lot of work, and I just got accepted into a tradeschool. But… I’m excited.

That’s so cool! Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I have never been to Disneyland (or world) myself. We went to Paris a few years ago and I begged my family to let us go to Disneyland but they said no haha. I was so upset XD. I love beaches too, they’re so much fun.
The retreat was so good, I really enjoyed myself. It was way out in the countryside amongst the mountains and I met so many lovely people there. It was such a blessing being there, I didn’t want to leave lol.
I’m studying Film at the moment 🙂 It’s really interesting, getting to learn how to make films and the different theories surrounding film. I love it XD
