    Thank you! I also struggle with worldview, and I actually didn’t plan any of this. It’s actually quite funny, I had no idea what Liorah was like until I began to write. Then, she just took shape in the second chapter and ran away with the story XD

    That is so awesome! I love when characters do that! Like Kiark, I didn’t really know much about him. Then I started writing him and realized he’s a typical proud teenager trying to prove himself and not doing a very good job at it. Ta da. Aren’t I brilliant? Not really, XD Oh, but to help with worldview, if you go up into resources you can get a worldview worksheet — which I need to force myself to fill out — if that would help 😛

    That’s awesome! I like sympathetic villains when they’re well written, but I struggle with writing them XD My main villain is just a nice, common, run-of-the-mill, vengeful, remorseless villain who will happily kill anyone in his path to world peace. I do have one or two morally gray characters, and they’re really fun! My favorite villain is Conner from “The False Prince” He’s totally evil but also brilliantly written!

    Same! I only hope I’m writing mine well; I know I’ve still got, like, a million things to learn, lol. But your villain totally makes sense in his motives if he’s doing it for world peace! I wanted to have a villain like yours, but I just didn’t want to try figuring out why he was destroying his entire country bc I’m lazy (that is the true reason), so I remorselessly dragged Wylo down into pits of darkness 😛 Gray characters are the best!!!!!! I love those characters bc they can get complicated and are often some of the most interesting. And I’ve never heard of that book, is it good? I’m always looking for good books 😉 If the title is any hint, it should be good.

    Also, I LOVE how Wylo rushed to help Liorah and Gwendolyn! (after some inner conflict)

    Thank you! I was actually having some inner conflict of my own; deciding if he’d do that, ha ha 😛 I decided he would 😀

    And I love how you argue with Liorah! I’ve actually never had that in my head before, but I wish I did. I did, however, lie awake in bed last night coming up with a comic strip that I will probably never make of Wylo’s downfall. I also imagine portraits of them in my head, of which never turn out even half as good on paper if I actually try 😛

    @jasmine

    I love that idea of a scale covered lion!! I think I need one of those in my world…

    And, actually, thanks for dragging Kami, Wen, and Eltar in, ha ha. I think they are a bit busy, so now they are all officially safe 😛

    @mischievous-thwapling

    Oh, I love how forgiving Rilyn was of Allen, and @rusted-knight, how Allen apologized. These more gentle interactions are rather nice after all the arguments!

    Thank you!! But I’m afraid I’ve been sworn to secrecy on the source of my quote     Sorry!!

    Totally cool! Secrecy only serves to make it more interesting! 😀

    And don’t apologize for injuring Rilyn, lol! I literally conked one of mine out and the other is lame, so yeah….
