For Teagen:

1. Becoming like his mother, or worse, becoming his father.

2. It depends what it was. If it was a pencil in grade school he wouldn’t have cared much about the pencil, but he would have wanted to fight. He likely would have bloodied up a boy’s nose and got detention.

Today? He has no will to go to jail, long term or otherwise. If someone stole from him, and he knew who it was? He’d be furious, and likely curse them a whole lot, but he wouldn’t hit them unless he knew they were just as scared of the police and prison as he is.

In the future he will be bothered, and perhaps angry. But he will control his tongue, and fists. He may search for the stolen item if it was important. The culture he’s in takes theft very seriously. The punishment can go from being cast from the tribe, a beating, or death. He would likely try not to convict anyone and keep the infraction to himself.

3. Oooh. Sailing. Or laying down with his head just above where the waves reach when they roll onto the beach. He would let the breakers wash over his body, and just breath with his eyes shut.
