Haven’t posted in while, but here’s a couple of attempts –

At sleepover 1:

Joe: *wakes up by instinct* *Leans over and whispers* “Micheal, what time is it?”
Micheal: *who was already awake humming a song under his breath* “Not sure but I’ll find out.” *jumps up*
Joe: *warningly* “Micheal . . . ”
Micheal: *starts an Irish jig and singing loudly in his native accent* “Good night Ladies!”
Rob: “MICHEAL, be QUIET!! Don’t you know it’s 3:00 AM?? IN THE MORNING??”
Micheal: * to Joe* “Now you know.”
Micheal: *louder* “Didn’t until you told me!! Thanks for that!”

At sleepover 2:

Jamie: *rolls over and calls softly to Jack. “What time is it?”
Jack: *mumbles sleepily* “I don’t know . . .”
Jamie: “Could you check your watch?”
Jack: *now awake enough to think* *reaches up, then grins evilly* “My watch is broken. I’ll ask Al.
*rolls on his side and jabs a finger into Alan’s back*
Alan: *jerking wide awake* “YEOW!! Jack, cut it out!!”
Dayton: *quite snappishly* “Imbeciles!! You must have no concept trying to sleep and getting rudely awakened at 1:45 in the morning!!”
Jack: *grandly* “There you have it, my lady.”
Jamie: “Thank you.”
Alan: *not getting the joke* “Now we have a whole lot of trouble, that’s for sure!!” ‘
Jack: *straight-faced* “Alan, what time is it?”
Alan: “I don’t know. Check your own stu-” *finally gets it* buries his face in his pillow, trying to smother his laughter*

At sleepover 3:

Stella: *wakes up and sits up* “What in the world?”
Tisha: *waking at her voice* “What is it, Stel?”
Stella: “Outside. The music-
Both together: “Megyn slept walked again!!”
Tisha: “What time is it??!! We’d better stop her before-
*Voice from house next door* “People, it’s 2;30 in the morning!! It’s time to be sleeping, not pretending we’re Beethoven!!” *cello silences with an awkward squeak*
Tisha: *grimly* “That happens.”
Megyn: *comes hurrying in, blushing brilliantly* “Sometimes I wish that someone would tie me to my bed every night after I go to sleep.”
Tisha: *shakes her head* “No, you’d untie the knots in your sleep. You need to have someone lock your cello away every night after you go to sleep.”
