So I hate to say this but lately, I have been doing everything but writing. Life has been crazy and I just have not given effort into setting aside time for writing. I have hardly even been on here as I am sure you all know. Wednesday though was the last day of my college classes (which I got an in both of if just barely in one) and I am finished with most of my other subjects for the school year. So yesterday/Thursday I sat down and wrote for an hour. Ok to be honest what I actually did was story plot I had one story idea I thought I was doing but by the end of the day it was totally trashed and now I have a brand new one I am so excited about but it needs a lot I mean a lot of work.

the story is about two indentured servants who meet on the ship to America. Over the course of their contract, they grow really close and the story would be about what it was like to be an indentured servant. Oh this really important part it’s about a white girl(who is a Christian) and a black (who is not a Christian)

the story would end with her finishing her contract but he is sold into slavery at the end of his. and he gets saved at the end of the story and as he goes up onto the platform to be sold at the end of the book he tells her I am finally free.

Okay I know that’s super vague but I’d love to hear yall’s thoughts and ideas. I am so excited for this story also it has to be short I have a 10-page limit so I’m trying to decide what style I wanna tell it.
