This week’s is a long one. It took some time to get all my thoughts formulated to write this one; I actually asked my grandfather for some help. But that was- was- I don’t remember exactly! 🙂 Here it is anyway! Enjoy! 🙂

 

Crying Out Your Glory

From the cloud islands that float in an ocean blue sky-

To the winds blowing o’er the fields of brightest green-

From the trees, lifting up their hands to heaven high-

To flowers that open their hearts to the King-

All creation is crying out Your glory!

 

From the waves crashing against the changeless rocky coast-

To sunset hues bathing the sand of golden beach-

From the stars, shining bright as a mighty twinklin’ host-

To Northern lights, setting on fire the might time skies-

All creation is crying out Your glory!

 

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

They declare Your glorious story!

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

The Creator most high reigns!

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

Praise our Lord, Savior and King

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

All creation cries out Your glory!

 

From the falcons and eagles lifting their wings above-

To songbirds twittering among the forest’s shady trees-

From the white silken feathers of the gentlest dove-

To painted peacocks and the gem-like humming birds-

All creation is crying out Your glory!

 

From the whale who cruises the mightiest deep-

To little fish swimming in pools the tides forgot-

From the corals crafting a fortress in ship-wrecked reef-

To sea stars exemplifying the works You’ve wrought-

All creation is crying out Your glory!

 

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

They declare Your glorious story!

Gloria! Gloria! Hallelujah!

The Creator most high reigns!

Praise our Lord, Savior and King

From the thundering of a thousand horses’ hoof beats-

To lonely cries howled from the heart of a wolf-

From the mountain goats, of falling fearless in their feats-

To graceful bounds of dappled leopard when he leaps

All Creation is crying out your glory!

 

And mankind, created as Your crowning masterpiece

To fellowship with You as companion and friend.

From the first day, though we marred the world You made,

To eternity, You had a plan to redeem us all

Then all creation shall again cry Your glory!
