First Verse

We are the light of the world

We let our lights shine before men

We don’t fear when darkness’ jaw unfurls

We never quake in the lions’ den

For it’s the Lord who leads the charge!

Chorus

When the snake comes to strike

We’ll put up a fight

To let him know the power of light

With the Lord at our side who can deny

The power of love he gives us tonight
