Hey guys!

So, in our thread where we were sharing what we’re writing, you heard about my short story (that became a novelette, basically) that I’m going to be using as a thank-you for people who sign up to my newsletter. It’s there already, but it needed rewriting.

Well, I rewrote it, and now I’m looking for opinions and advice. This is the one I wrote because I wanted to twist the cliché of the mentor dying for the hero.
