Thanks @daeus-lamb. I pretty much agree with everyone here.

I only have two things to add.

First:

I highly recommend that all of you go watch Betrothed, the movie that HaYovel put out something like ten years ago. It’s very clear and informative, and shows a completely different model of how to pursue marriage.

Secondly, Christian Romance might be like Christian Horror: Yeah, there’s a good chance it shouldn’t exist, but there are always going to be Christians who want to read it.

So do you cater to those Christians or vehemently oppose them, boycotting all forms of romance (or horror)?

Also, I agree with @wordsmith. We probably shouldn’t be the ones writing romance. At least not just yet. Give it ten or twenty years. 🙂
