Dear Story Embers Community,

After much thought and prayer, we’ve decided that Story Embers will be closing its doors. This has been a difficult conclusion to reach, but we want to share it with you honestly and gratefully.

Although our team is stepping back, the website will remain online so you can continue to access the summit recordings, article archives, and downloadable resources that have been meaningful to you over the years. We hope these materials will continue to strengthen and inspire your writing long after the site itself grows quiet.

Over the past several years, many of our team members have entered new seasons of life—marriage, growing families, book contracts, and other commitments that require their full attention. We’re excited for the ways God has led each of us forward, but these changes have also made it difficult to maintain the level of care and consistency Story Embers has always aimed to provide. 

Serving you has been one of the greatest privileges of our creative lives. Walking alongside you as you pursued excellence, wrestled with craft, and sought to glorify God through your stories has shaped us in lasting ways. Thank you for supporting our mission, learning, asking questions, and letting us be part of your growth.
