@kari-karast Marvel movies are also fantastic, so yeah watch both.
XD I know you won’t. I had never really thought of multiple languages either until now-ish. And I got an idea for the Language of the Dead so that’s what I’m working on. I have no idea how long it’s going to take me to finish it. Probably a while, though. I’m almost done fill…[Read more]

@kari-karast I keep saying that because it’s true.
Just don’t copy any of the languages themselves, ok? That’d be bad. XD

@kari-karast good for you. You should watch Doctor Who, though.

@kari-karast thanks! I’ll let you know if I need anything!
Have fun reading what already happened. It will take you a while. But hey, it’s interesting so who cares?

@kari-karast Why, hello Veraza! Nice to have you on board!

@w-o-holmes yeah, I should probably have one language for each Race. I started on the Language of the Dead today. It’s going to be sort of a rune version of Latin. And it helps that I have had some experience learning Latin before.

@w-o-holmes you’re right. Different Races stuck on a ship would be better with the Races not liking each other. I’ll definitely write it! Then I’ll send it to you to see if you can make sense of it and maybe a poem as well.
With Warriors Unite, maybe I’ll do something similar to kingdoms and make up my own name for them. That’d be cool. I’…[Read more]

@august-grace thanks!
Your WIP sounds awesome as well! I like how the heroes are basically from this world and go to another world. And don’t worry about the story title too much. Warriors Unite is pretty much the only story (except one other) I have that has a (mostly) set title. A couple others have working titles, but most just have no tit…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes yeah, eggnog is really good. That’s funny your family has specific ice cream spoons. Our spoons are just large serving spoons and small eating spoons. Plus a few long-handled spoons, but we don’t use those much.
I usually don’t do Irish accents. I guess I’ve never really tried to. Usually I do British accents. I get it from…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes I suppose I am a convert now haha. Yes, I do like eggnog. Not a lot, though. Just a small glass every so often. So yeah I like it but in small doses.
Yeah, Irish music is great that way. I love their accents, and also sometimes they sing in Gaelic, which is awesome. ACGS sounds interesting. I might have to check it out!…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes yep, definitely me! He responded to me (of course) and made some really good points about the Hobbit. And I agree with pretty much everything. So yes, he has made me kind of like the Hobbit movies now.
I’ve heard of the Dubliners, but haven’t listened to much of their music. I do like Irish music, though, especially Celtic Thu…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes I understand what you’re saying about the Hobbit. And yeah, if I look at the book and the movies completely separately, I do like both. Thanks for your bro’s website! I’ll contact him and see what he has to say.
I really like TobyMac as well! I haven’t listened to him for a while, though. But I should. I’ve also heard Steph…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes I find music to be very inspirational as well. I don’t really listen to classical music, though. I usually listen to epic music such as Audiomachine, Two Steps From Hell (odd name, I know), Epic North, Antti Martikainen, and more. For one of my stories, I usually listen to a specific album while writing it. That album does have lyr…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes I only had one writing friend until recently. It’s nice to be a part of a whole writing community, plus I realized that like, five other girls from the homeschool choir I’m in are also writers.
That fan sounds amazing! I just have a normal fan, not one with water particles to help cool the air. It works, though.

@w-o-holmes that word count competition sounds really cool! My bro’s not really into writing, so I can’t do it with him. None of my family members are really into writing, and my friends who are writers live at least a half hour away from my house. So it’s difficult to get together with them for writing sessions like that. And I’m not fam…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes I usually get my ideas and such when I’m in bed at night. It’s great I get the ideas, but sometimes I can’t sleep because of them! Often I just have to get up and do something about whatever’s rattling around in my brain. That’s cool you have that memory! Also having kind of a big family. @w-o-holmes that is frustrating. I’ve experienced it many times! I really want to draw my characters and Races, and I have descriptions of them, but I haven’t been able to put them on paper well. They always end up looking terrible. My main struggles with people are anatomy, position, and hands. Faces I’m reasonably ok. Eyes are hard, thoug…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes that’s great! Oil paint is easier to work with than acrylic. White paint is extremely important, though! And I hope you do get into it. Painting is fun, even if you’re not that experienced with it. I get pictures and things in my head as well when I’m writing my stories. So right now I’m just trying to get the skills to make…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes yeah, the Silmarillion is a pretty difficult read.
I don’t really know if I have a specific strongpoint when it comes to art. I do kind of a mix of everything. But I recently started my 6th year (I think) of art class. In my class we do all sorts of things like drawing, painting, sculpting and others. And I’ve been drawing for as…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes you’re welcome!
I started reading the Silmarillion but it’s super complex, so I’m not even close to finishing it yet.
That’s awesome you have maps! Having multiple maps like Tolkien did would be a good idea. I think it’d be good to have a map that shows it all from a distance and then several other close-up maps showing various l…[Read more]
