“Look at this.”

Isaac listened closely. There was a slight flutter. A page being turned.

“People.”

Closing the chamber that held the detonators, he lifted the pack to his back. Time to work a bit. Approaching from the side, Isaac saw the pictures. Nothing seemed special but his line of work taught him that any little detail could be important.

“Aragorn, Jadis. Who are these people?”

The man continued to turn pages. Isaac saw a pattern to the pictures. Some had a red background while others were white. The order of appearance seemed to be random. Then Virtus stopped. His face was frozen. He saw something he did not expect. Looking at the page, Isaac saw a picture of Lytt. Across from her was a picture of Dharin. Both had white backgrounds.

In an instant, Isaac saw a chance to glean information. Taking the book from Virtus, Isaac turn to the previous page. Teagan was there with a red background. Red must mean those who died in the castle and white was for those who were returned. Flipping back to the last page, Isaac returned the book.

“It’s a record. Dharin and Lytt were here until an hour ago.”
